If only there weren't so many people intent on not getting along politically. IRL, on this site, on YouTube... People that are just fed false narratives and brainwashed to the point where they just become totally tribal.

 

Some people may claim me to be one of those people, but that would be total nonsense made up to attack me politically.

This is why I don't pick either side. Both the Democrats and Republicans have their problems, and I refuse to associate with them. Unfortunately, this is the type of world we live in any more.

I recommend toning down the habit of calling everyone that doesn't agree with you brainwashed. They might be... or they saw the same info you did and still came to a different conclusion. That is how humans are. You can see the same thing, and someone, somewhere is going to interpret it differently. Or just have different priorities or goals. There's no one on any side that is wringing their hands, twirling their staches, and cackling like a Saturday morning villain. Everyone thinks they're doing what is "best".

I love how perfectly this thread illustrates why I always look over all the status updates and posts I do not make complaining about Bernie Bros and Yang Gangers and tell myself, "Yup. This is cool.". Because it's always better off avoiding drama and only saying something you truly feel needs to be said.
