Which gang are you signing up for in Hearthstone's new expansion?

     I'm not any good at Hearthstone much myself. Can barely get past the minimum 20 rank, so I could probably use a teacher about it. But I am looking forward to the new Mean Streets of Gadgetzan expansion. You can see the details about each of the gangs over on the offical website, if you want. (I'm sure it'll be the first thing up on google, don't make me do the legwork, I just got done eating!)

 

      I'm on the fence between two of them so I was wondering if the rest of you already had your minds set on which way you were going!

I had to look up the new expansion information. I haven't played too much of the card game but my favorite class in the mmo is Warlock so Kabal is most likely what I'd join if I played with the matching deck.

  Well yeah...from what I've heard of them...they're the one choice I know I'm not going.

    The Kabal is lead by some back alleyway potion peddler that few know about. Everyone in the "guild" blindly follows him and rants openly about the promises of pseudo-demonic powers he grants and those rather intoxicating drinks he forcibly hands out. They're very potion orientated and corner the markets, especially on magic & rare ingredients.

    They're the most blatant drug allegory I've ever seen any large franchise play a part in!

  And, well, long as I'm at it. I'll do the other two!

    

            The Grimy Goons are more traditional gangsters. Rather Mafia-like. Ran by a two headed ogre who wears a split-patterned suit-tank top & he's got his meaty hands on the pulse of the city, controlling most of the wealth, open businesses and the new, famous bank of Gadgetzan. Their gimmick is based more around buffing the other minions you haven't played yet & stocking up weaponry for the incoming turf war. Runs more like a family, eh? E'ryone needs family, eh?

 

    Lastly, is the Jade Lotus. Admittedly, I don't know much about them. Seems most don't. Their the assassins. But a bit more then that. They DO seem to kill for profit, but their spiritual too. They're just as much rogues as they are druids & shamans. They are lead by pandaren & control the huge new museum that came into town. Though they do seem to care about history & tradition, as their name implies, they do have a habit of using those jade artifacts & statues they've been amassing. Infusing them with spirits & whatever suspicious eldritch magic until they have building-bashing monstrosities to rampage though town.

 

    Huh, just occurred to me. Does sound suspiciously like a simpler take on Wizard's of the Coast's shtick on the plane of Ravinica. Big globe-spanning city-world, lead by many characteristic guilds?...
