I read the news about Carrie Fisher not long after she passed away, but I really didn't feel compelled to talk about it until now. Too depressing.    As a Star Wars fan from a young age, this has been devastating to me, and finding out about Debbie Reynolds just upset me even more.

 

I guess in the spirit of lightheartedness, I should post this pic that I found on Twitter. Tara Strong is doing a contest in which you draw one or more of her characters as Princess Leia and this was my favorite of the ones I've seen so far.
