How you became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: I accidentally read a really good fan-fic. It's a long story, yet really quick also. It's quick because it only happened recently, in fact as recently as Christmas Day I wasn't a big fan. I mean, I have seen occasional clips, songs, and such in the past but never got fully addicted, until the day after Christmas. I was bored. I was watching TV and waiting for my laptop to restart and I saw a commercial for a somewhat new TV show and I was wondering if there were any fan-fics of it so I checked and there weren't. I was still really bored so I just wen down the list of M cartoons and was looking at the ones with the most stories and I saw MLP and decided to randomly check them out. I found one that looked good and I skimmed the first chapter. I told myself it wasn't bad and by the end of the 3rd chapter I was in love. Finished the whole thing in 6 straight hours. First time I read an entire fan-fic ever. Heck I haven't even read a whole book in years thanks to being super busy with the internet and such. The next day, which was a week ago from today, I downloaded a bunch of episodes and so far in just 8 days I watched almost a whole season and read more than 1600 pages worth of fan-fics. That not normal of me. I literally haven't watched videos at home in more than a year, I usually download for when I'm traveling because I have TV, 300 video games, and laptop at home, but I watched them anyway. Even over the course of Friday-Saturday I spent about 30 hours to read one 900 page fic, all I did other than read during that time was sleep, eat, and bathroom. Didn't even check my email once, which is something I do every hour. And it didn't bother me because I was in love. I even have an idea for my own fic now, which I think is awesome but I might be too lazy to do. Welp, time to fly out and have fun. 4 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The one that I read was called Chains.
