Are there any pony memes you don't understand? I don't understand the Shining Armor corndog meme. Does it come from FIW? And why is Berry Punch seen as a drunk? Is it because of her look of horror at there not being any cider in SSCS6000 (which doesn't make sense if you're not British)?

According to MLP Fan Labor Wiki: "An in-joke about Shining Armor is that corn dogs are his favorite snack, due to the fact that the official voice actor has played a character that likes corn dogs. This joke is referenced in the Friendship is Witchcraft episode Foaly Matripony."

 

So yes, it comes from FiW as many other brony memes do (Sweetie Bot, It's not creepy, Buy some apples, etc.)
