Deer OC help

Tyandaga inspired me to make a deer OC so I wanted to so that it was him that inspred me. He likes it x3

But idk what colors to choose. I'm wanting browns or grays...

I you want browns of grays, go for it. paint diferent versions of the same to see which you like more.

 

im pretty yelowsy so i would try a kinda yellow one

@@Tangle, If you want to think up a good color scheme, look at actual deer. Pictures of deer would be ideal, as real deer are hard to come by.

My suggest would be looking at real life deer and going from there; that's what I'm done with my deer oc AND my deer-sona.

 

 

Typically go with browns of varying shades.

I've usually tried to stick with nature-related themes; especially since that's what the deer arc of the MLP-comics went with. Look at these name:

 

From the comics: King Aspen, Blackthorn, Bramble

 

My deer OCs: Autumn, Trailblazer, Cherry Blossom, Scarlet Willow

 

Now, you can go in any direction you wish to, but the nature theme is a good one to stick to.
