Maple agreed "I mean anything's better than dying, But something like this distraction is going to be a huge turn in the war, The real me needs to draw attention, not some fake me, I'm glad you understand my worry though. Hit me with this spell and we can put the plan into action!" She threw off her cloak and flaired her wings a guard saw her and she took him out with a well-placed arrow.

Woody walked into the library of Twilight's castle. Even in all the war, the books were fine, Well most of them were some of them hadn't seen any care so they had started to deteriorate. Woody grabbed a few and sat down starting to read them.

Moon nodded,and created a small bracelet around Maple's hooves."It'll react if you want to leave."She glanced towards Manehatten.She then turned to Maple.She bared her teeth in a predatory grin."Shall we begin?"

Sakuya stepped out of the tower's lobby, nodding at the two changling guards standing at attention to either side of the doors.  She slowly walked out from under the entrance awning, before turning to look up at the tower.  With Ravage wandering the rooftops, and her having to leave for a meeting at City Hall, Ennex would be alone in the tower.  Well, except for a few dozen guards spread among the floors.  

She signed, and turned back towards the street.  It couldn't be helped, having to leave him.  Ever since he locked himself in his penthouse, Ennex had remained silent to them, only seen by Starshine when she brought him food.  And with Ravage ordered to behave, and her having the duties of running the city..... 

After a moment, she trotted along, citizens giving her a wide path through the street.  While she had carried out his orders to keep the guards from causing trouble, the ponies of the city still were afraid of her, and keep out of her way.  They never new when the peaceful mood would snap.....

Maple nodded. "Let's." She said flying up into the sky. Maple took a look around seeing a pony jumping between rooftops, Recognizing them instantly she whistled loudly to draw the ponies attention "Guess who's back?!" She shouted to Ravage mockingly. "Did'ja miss me?!" She had drawn the attention of a few guards which she took out with a few arrows. Before dashing away quickly Let's see how much they've trained in past 3 months She thought

TU: To be honest Woody knowing how I always need to have backup plans for everything there's probably some hidden books in this library that contain extremely powerful spells that anyone could preform even if they are like a dragon or earth pony. Plus there's probably a hidden cabinet somewhere in here where the emergency spell books are! Anyways I'm getting another itch!

 

Techno then scratched his head for then a massive five metre long cape to spawn on Woody. The cape was brown towards his neck and it then faded to white at the other end. The fabric and properties of the cape were also exactly the same to the capes that Techno, Moon and Maple were wearing...

 

TU: That's once again quite interesting. Like all I did was scratch my head because of an itch and it spawned a massive cape on you Woody!

As Maple flew away,Moon couldn't help but chuckle.She checked to make sure her wings were invisible,and satisfied,she started walking through the streets towards the large skyscraper. Upon reaching it,she darted into the small alley next to it.She wedged herself behind some things,and cast a camoflauge spell for good measure.Then,she cast the avatar spell.She made it a pegasus,and closing her eyes,felt her slip into the other body.She glanced at where her true body lay,making sure it was hidden,before flying up the scraper carefully to the roof.There were no guards here,as Maple had drawn them away.Looking around,she spotted a service stairs entrance,and began walking towards it.

He had just taken a moment to rest, when a shout came from above.  "Guess who's back?!  Did'ja miss me?!"

Glancing up and back, he saw Maple fly past and away.  He tensed to run after her, but a single thought restrained him.  My orders are to not fight rebels... but I cannot allow this challenge to go unanswered!  Making up his mind, Ravage galloped to the edge of the roof, and leaped over to the next, not breaking stride as he landed and continued on, chasing after Maple....

Maple saw Ravage chasing her "Plans working" she said to herself... She saw a guard fly up behind her and Maple flipped in midair Kicking the c into a few others that were flying after her during the flip she had aimed a shot a Ravage it wasn't going to hit him but at least it was a shot towards him.

Ravage dodged the arrow that was shot towards him, surprised that the aim wasn't exact.  He ignored the shouts and cries of the injured guards, and kept up his pursuit, determined to take down at least one rebel in retaliation for his failing to capture them months ago...

TU: Woody I think I've found it!

 

Techno then opened the panel to reveal some blueprint styled books that were actually spell books. Techno then started reading one of them...

 

TU: Okay let's see if I can find something useful in here!

Moon entered the hallway silently.She glanced behind her at the pile of unconcious changeling guards.It was actually surprisingly easy to defeat them,especially since she surprised them.She frowned.They had been talking about not seeing somepony for a while.That wouldn't have been worthwhile,but...they referred to whoever it was as sir,and they sounded...grateful that whoever it was wasn't there. 

I need to find out who it is.

With this thought,Moon continued down the hallway.

TU: To be honest Woody this spell is literally perfect for spying! It allows you to become invisible to the timeline and that would be perfect for spying on Ennex and his gang in Manehatten!

He saw the arrow headed right towards him, but it was too late, as he was already in mid-leap.  He grunted and came down hard onto the next rooftop, pausing to catch his breath, the arrow stuck just below his neck between his front legs.  While his bodysuit protected him from most of it, the tip did break through to dig nearly an inch into his chest.  Silently, he twisted his head to grasp the shaft with his teeth, and pulled it free.  He turned to look up at Maple, and dropped it onto the ground in front of him, a few drops of red falling beside it....

Maple grinned seeing she hit him but that grin went away when she saw she had no arrows left. Muttering something to herself she saw more changelings approaching her she put up the down attaching it to the back of her armor and went at the changelings with her hooves. The changelings weren't very good but they'd slowed Maple down drastically.

Woody was lost in his reading. Too lost to even hear Techno's discovery, He'd never seen the spell he was looking at. He turned the page and the most important page, the one he needed most was gone he slammed his paw against the desk "Is Canterlot still protected or did Chrysalis' forces leave..." He asked quickly if he figured this out it would be a huge turning point.

Moon shivered.She had been prowling the hallways for a while,and she had suddenly entered one that felt...cold.She frowned at what she had found.The hallway led to a single point.A single door.Nothing else.She probed the lock,and realized it was locked.She glared at it.

This must be what I need.I have to get in...somehow.

TU: Yeah I believe Cantralot was left in ruins when the changelings attacked it a second time more recently. Anyways I wonder what you think of your new cape there!

The roof he was standing on was a floor taller than the one Maple was fighting on.  Ravage watched her engage the changlings, studying her movements.  He grimaced at the guards were bested, knowing they were not the greatest fighters.  Waiting to choose his moment to strike, he watched...

"No... no... no!!!!" he flung the scroll across the room, ignoring as it stuck the far wall.  Stumbling about in the weak light, (only coming from the windows), he stepped over dozens of other papers and scrolls, some old, some new, many with fresh scribble all over them.  Ever since getting the data overload from the android pony, he'd been struggling to make sense of everything.... and find some way to use it to his advantage.  Finally, he left the main room of the suite, and started pulling more scrolls off a shelf in the side room, which was set up as a personal library/study.  "I must find the key..." he muttered..... "must find the Nightmare...."

Maple was the resistances greatest fighter, except for perhaps Zecora, but Maple never saw her fight and most assumed she was good at it. Despite this, she wasn't perfect against a large number of them there were a few times she almost got hit by a weapon but she saw it coming most times, she managed to disarm a changing using his spear against the forces she was facing. She was doing great until a changeling hit her under the armor in the lower chest, their sword cut her badly but not fatally, she killed the changeling under her and most of them started running away "Pssh, Cowards..." Maple commented.

Hearing this Woody's head hit the desk he was reading at "The one spell that could've convinced the ponies to help us. Gone..." He sighed not making a comment on the cape, as he still hadn't noticed it. He got lost in thought then Looked at techno "Techno... do you... Have a spell that can restore damaged books. I really need this spell." He turned the page and it said 'Elemental control: Flame.' On it "This one plus a few other spells and..." He pointed to the moon, I'll bring back the light. He thought, he knew him trying to move the sun was dangerous but if he had the right spell combination it would work maybe then the ponies of Equestria would realize there's something that they took that's irreplaceable. "Hope," he said aloud.

Ravage watched the remaining guards scatter away from Maple.  Weaklings,he thought, and stepped over to stand at the edge of the roof he was on, looking down at her.  "So, you have defeated a group of drones," his deep, accented voice called out to her, "Now tell me, what is it you are attempting to accomplish, here.  You deliberately draw attention to yourself, for what end?  Covering for some other plan?"

TU: Well to be honest there is a self repair spell that's already built into the capes that would work in anything so I could try that! Though if the missing spells in the book have been deleted from existence than there's nothing that can be done to bring them back so the missing pages will reappear but they might be completely blank when I fix the books.

 

Techno then repaired all the books but still a couple of the most important missing spell pages were completely blank...

 

TU: Okay because I can now become invisible to the timeline I can now spy on Ennex! Anyways I'll head off to begin spying in a moment plus I'll establish a mental communications link with you so we can talk to each other through our minds while I'm spying!

Stealth is important...Blasting it will attract all the guards...Unless.

She smirked at the door.She then cast a spell.A sound muting spell covered the room.And then the hinges popped and the door fell down.

A shadow moved in the study as he shifted to another bookshelf, not paying the suite door falling down any attention.  If one could see him when he walked through the light from the windows, one would see his mane mostly unkempt, a few random empty food containers scattered about, papers and scrolls all over the suite.  But the biggest thing was his eyes....

.....and the look of a current lack of sanity....
