If the ponies were benders, what would they be?

Obviously, Maude and AppleJack would be earth benders.

I think Spike, Like Sokka- being the sarcastic/voice of reason type would be a non-bender. (although, since he's a fire-breathing dragon, he just as easily could be a fire bender)

Rarity could be a metalbender, since her specialty is minerals and gems.

Fluttershy would be a waterbender, as she seems the more peaceful, motherly type, and water is a feminine element, gentle, yet temperamental, and easily adabptable..

Starlight would either be a high level waterbender/ bloodbender who needs to deal with the moral consequences of that, like she does with her op freaky unicorn magic, or a firebender, as her aggression and rage is common to fire types.

Sunset Shimmer- being under the phoenix sign, would obviously be a firebender.

Rainbow dash might be a firebender, also, as the gentle, dedicated life of peace and study isn't up her alley.

Twilight, the studious pony that she is, would be the obvious Avatar who was born as an airbender, and mastered the other elements later in life.

Interesting concept I think starlight (pre-reforment) would be like amon (spoilers for the legend of korra) and after reforment a fire bender

 Celestia would be twilight teacher as she learns air bending

Luna would be the old avatar who disappeared

Big mac would defiantly be an earth bender he was the build for it

Derpy, Doctor whooves Vynal scratch and octavia would all just be civilans with no bending I think
