Chrysalis adopts Scootaloo?

I'm surprised no one has thought to ship Chrysalis and Scootaloo as mother and child. A pony bug who abandons her hive of children, and a pony who (supposedly, according to the fans) is abandoned by her parents. How adorable would it be for the lonely mom to take Scoots under her wing, show her some love, and maybe gradually show her the buggy ways, and draw her to the dark side, for use against Starlight later on, as a trump card, which nearly succeeds until Scoots realized she'd really grown to love Chryssi as a mother? These two need each other!

Sounds cute, and I'd be all for it. But, Rainbow Dash already is sort of like a mother to Scootaloo.
So, I doubt Scoots would turn against RD.

That would involve a Chrysalis reformation, and knowing FIM's track record with reforming villains, it probably would end up being pretty bad.

lol no this sounds like a terrible idea. There's absolutely no reason for these two to get together not to mention it would involve Chrysalis reforming.

If they wanted someone to adopt Scootaloo(that's assuming she is an orphan, which she most likely isn't), Rainbow Dash and/or her parents would be the only choices people would accept

I think one reason no one thought of it is because Chrysalis is a villain who probably wouldn't do something like this and Scootaloo, well, isn't.

Also, Scootaloo isn't an orphan. Lauren Faust said that her parents both have demanding jobs and Scootaloo is good at evading her babysitter.

I know the current showrunners could go in a different direction, but Jim Miller said that he'd do what he could to keep it true, so unless Hasbro makes them do something else, that's pretty much how it is.

That sounds like a very creative idea, but I want Scoot to make Chryssy realize what she had odne wrong, and not use her. However, it is very unlikely it will happen as Scootaloo already seems fine.

Anyway, I don't think Scootaloo would be drawn in by Chrysalis. I mean, she already has Rainbow Dash's family, and the way she talked in "Parental Glideance" makes me think that her family is still alive but doesn't spend much time with her. So I don't think this is a very plausible scenario.

Chrysalis is representative of why CPS exists in the first place. She ain't going to be winning mother of the year awards for her phenomenal work with her last lot of kids. 

All kidding aside, Windy Whistles and Bow Hothoof appear to have adopted her (at least in terms of support).

Yep. I view them as busy parents too. Scootaloo definitely is feeling some abandonment issues.

she's more like a big sister, if anything, though
