Quibble pants joining Starlight's friends?

I really love this stallion. And honestly, I think he would make he perfect addition to Starlight's gang.  He's a grounded, level-headed pony in the face of danger, unlike Trixie, speak his mind, unlike Maud, and can put Starlight in her place regarding her magic, if need be, since he can tell it like it is, and diffuse a situation before it gets out of hoof- unlike Starlight, who just throws magic at her problems. What do you guys think of this guy joining Starlight's team? (It would be a nice addition to have a male in the group, unlike with the mane 6)

He's a celebrity character, so I doubt he'd be given such a role, he's as likely as Coloratura and Cheese Sandwich

Would like to see a canon pairing between QP and Yearling though, just for the scene where Rainbow Dash's jaw hits the floor with a loud clang when she finds out

Given how he is voiced by a celebrity, I doubt we are going to see him again, let alone with Starlight.

Yeah, I think Quibble Pants is a perfect friend for Starlight, but veing voiced by a celebrity is an obstacle for bringing him back

Doesn't need to be an exact match - just needs to sound a bit horse

It's kinda annoying when celeb characters get replaced. 

Outside of the fact that there are some issues with the character's first outing that made some suggest he isn't the brightest crayon in the box, I am going to hold to what I've said before. 

The writers need to invest in substantive Sunburst and Starlight screen time first. That is a relationship that needs to be fleshed out more. They're pasts are intertwined and their current selves seem to be a thematic yin yang. Better use of a Starlight episode. After that is done, I'll consider the idea of building her group even more more plausible.
