Bat ponies in the movie?

Do you think there will be bat ponies seen or at least mentioned in My Little Pony: The Movie? Luna's guards were bat ponies so they do exist in the universe, and we should definitely see more of them. There weren't bat ponies seen or mentioned in the trailer, so that could mean bat ponies only exist as guards for Luna and nowhere else(so not in the movie), or they just aren't a large part of the movie. Anyone agree or think differently?

I doubt bats will show in the movie, as the plot should be kept as simple to entertain the casual movie goer, and expecting for them to know the 7 season-long lore is suicide for that. They should be formally introduced one day though

Given how they haven't even appeared in the show proper, I doubt it.

We only saw them once right? The chances we see them here then are really low.

They don't seem to appear in the trailer and released art books. Makes sense to avoid put too many new characters/Equestrian species at once. The movie is already packed with those. Would love to see the bat-ponies come back with a more prominent role though. season 8 perhaps? One can only hope!
