"Auntie, I hope you realize they don't dislike you as much as you think" Prince crouched and went on the balcony. He let his ears be seen over the edge so he could hear them better. "Why would she think that?" was a question he heard over and over again. "Hmp..." Prince retreated back before Anypony cloud spot him. "We should get packed, Cousin, you already know what to do correct?" prince asked walking towards his suite.

Twilight turned around. "The hay? how did-" She blinked, then shook her head twice. "Sorry, I'm a bit out of it...teleportation messed up my brain pretty bad."

She looked them over. "So..the last one we need is Rarity, right? DOes anypony know where she is?"

Twilight scowled. "Well, this is important," she said impatiently, stamping her hoof on the ground. "Erm...should we try to find her, or just go on without?"

"I'll need to be shown the spells for raising and lowering the sun and the moon, but other than that, it shouldn't be that hard, and Lightning is right Aunt Luna, you're not hated that much."

 

"They hate me enough to not trust me, even you yourself thought I was responsible for this when I first walked in. Even when I went to a peaceful city such as Ponyville for Nightmare Night last year, all the ponies, old and young were stricken with fear. Thou has not forgotten, and thy shall not forget that I bear a curse that will haunt me for eternity. I can only hope that by finding my sister, I can at least attempt to clear my name. But that's a lot to ask as it is," Luna said hanging her head.

 

"Now you look here," Cadence said growing tired of hearing her aunt talk down about herself the way she was. Granter, she wasn't helping the situation with her accusations earlier, but still it was growing more and more difficult to hear her degrade herself as such. "I know I haven't helped in turning your feelings around with my accusations earlier, but I'll be the first to admit they were ill places accusations that spurred in the moment. We all love you Luna, I can't speak for the crowd out there, but you're my Aunt and even if I don't trust you a hundred percent of the time doesn't mean that I hate you or that I don't love you. I'm pretty sure most of Equestria feels the same way. And of course ponies are going to be scared on Nightmare Night. That's pretty much the point of night mare night. Get scared out of your flanks and get lots of candy. It's all about the children,"

 

"That ran every time I tried to get close to them..."

 

"Come on now, they're fillies and colts. Most of them probably thought you were putting on an act," Cadence tried reasoning with her looking over to her cousin, "A little help would be nice," she whispered to him.

Prince turned around, "I must say Auntie, my cousin speaks the truth." he came back to them. "You are the thing that lets them sleep every night. Without you, there is no night." prince smiled "Nights a good ting and they think of you when it is out. They love you as much as they love either of us." Prince looked at her in the eyes, trying to show he was serious "They love you more than either of us, they will always love you"

"I understand that Ponies need a balance of day and night to be happy. That's not the issue," Luna stated looking over the destroyed throne room. "The issue is just I've grown tired of constantly being reminded of the mistakes I've made in the past after I've already spent a thousand years imprisoned in the moon for my actions of stupidity. Most ponies seem to forget that, and the one pony that hadn't is now gone..." Luna stated in despair. Tears were forming in the corner of her eyes. "Why couldn't have been me that had been kidnapped... No pony would have cared if I vanished..."

 

Cadence couldn't take anymore of how Luna was talking. Every worn Luna spoke hurt Cadence even more so than she was hurting herself. Gathering the courage that she had, she walked over to Luna and slapped her across the cheek with a hoof. "Will you please stop that! You're hurting me as much as you are yourself! You know as well as I do that if it were Celestia here, she would stop at nothing to get you back."

 

"I know..."

 

"So stop saying that nopony cares about you!" Cadence spoke with a fire in her voice. "There are two ponies in this very room who love you dearly. I would be devastated if something happened to you just as much as you are with the current situation. You aren't hated Luna! And everypony would notice if you were missing. Aunt Celestia and I both would make sure of it. Now if you're going to spend most of the search crying about how ponies don't care about you and that we'd be better off with the situations reversed, then you aren't going anywhere! In this condition I'd make sure shining armor didn't let you out of his sight, and I would go with Twilight to find Aunt Celestia! I'm not as powerful as you or Auntie, but at least I would be more concerned about finding her than about how everypony felt about me!" Cadence finished noticing that her word choice at the end wasn't exactly the best and wasn't helping the situation, so she pulled Luna into the tightest hug she could. "Everything will be okay. We'll find Celly. That being said, where's twilight and the others? You sent that letter almost an hour ago!"

Prince came out of his trance from watching Cadence slap Luna. "Oh!" he fumbled about trying to remember what he said before. ."Um, twilight has already reviewed the message but gathering all the girls in such a short time frame and do abuprtly may be challenging. " He was still alittle blank faced from seing what his cousin just did.

Luna sighed. "I wish there was a way to speed things up, but everything tells us that we need to go east to find Celestia, and Ponyville is west. If we go there to help them get everything together, then we have to back track and lost precious time that we may not have. Then again we have no way of knowing how long they are going to take... Hopefully it's not too much longer, but still,"

 

"Well, I have to admit this is about as short notice as we can get, but then again, emergencies aren't something that are planned for, especially one like this..."

 

"What do you think Lightning? should we go there and help get them together? or should we wait here for them?" Luna asked looking for input.

Prince's eyes narrowed, this would be a major turning point for the search. He thought for a bit then after thinking. Je turned to Luna. "We must speed things along, I suggest we go to Ponyville to do so." Prince looked at them waiting for the final decision.

"Well, Rarity should be back to her boutique by now. Have ya seen how bad this storm is?" Applejack said. "She wouldn't've been able to stay out there too long. Especially her..."

Twilight scowled heavily. "She better be-we don't have time to waste looking for her." SHe shook her head, realizing how mean that sounded. "Sorry, I'm just a little frustrated. Well, if you're all ready..."

 

She glanced up at the ceiling of Fluttershy's cotage, and began willing arcane sparks to flicker across the sky as she prepared to teleport them across to Rarity's boutique. "Close your eyes, everypony, this could get a little-." There was a sudedn brillinat flash of light, and Twilight threw her hooves up in front of her face as the light enveloped them all.

 

Twilight tumbled to the marble floor of Rarity's boutique. "Bright..." she completed her sentence.

Rarity was working on her latest order of dresses, as if nothing was going on. "Now, just one last diamond and-" she was cut off by a flash of light behind her, followed by a thud. She turn around quickly to see her friends lying on the floor. "Oh my! Are you girls alright?" she asked worriedly, helping them up.

(Moving on so we can actually get somewhere.)

 

"Very well," Luna said to Lightning. "Cadence, I thank you for your love," she said pulling her into a tight hug, "It means the world to hear you say that, and now I must call the Kettle black and tell you to stay strong in our absence. I have no idea how long we'll be gone. The only thing I know is that I'll either bring Celestia home, or die trying," She told her.

 

"You had better, except you know, without the last part of you dying. If you died I'd have one less auntie to love," Cadence replied returning the hug. "Anyway, with Shining's help I should be fine. The only thing I'm worried about is I'm not as strong as you or Celelstia, so I don't know how long I'll be able to keep up with both day and night."

 

"With any luck we won't have to test and see just how long," she said moving to the door, "Guards! we need a chariot to Ponyville! NOW!" she said watching them quickly mobilize.

"This'll be good..." Prince put on the his royal chest plate and looked at it shine. "I almost never get to wear this! It's shining!" prince thought as he stared dazzled at it. He watched the guards scramble. "This will get done quicker than I thought." he thought to himself as he stood becide Princess Luna. "When you're ready auntie." He said puffing out his chest to show off his chest plate.

"Erm..." Twilight Sparkle glanced around, wondering where the others had went. "Well, whatever. Er-hem!" she said, clearing her throat as she faced Rarity. "No time to explain, Rarity, but it's an emergency. The others have gotta be somewhere in this boutique-let's find them and teleport out of this place."

Walking out side the on the streets of Ponyville, Starbolt was enjoying the day planning to practice her magic. Suddenly she saw a tornado in the distance and saw a purple flash in the house to her right.

"What in the name of Celestia is happening the purple flash was definitely magic maybe somepony there knows whats going on."

Walking in to the place she reads the sign it says Carousel Boutique she steps in and sees a group of ponies in front of her.

"Hello, anypony know whats going on out side this dosent look good. Oh i am Starbolt and sorry if im interrupting."

She examines each pony in front of her realizing the flash of magic was obviously from the purple one.

"What has happened? Why do you need me? Where is everypony else? Why-" Rarity was blabbering on. Once she noticed Twilight's worried expression. She stopped talking and said "Well, we should hurry"

"Let's get going, then," Twilight excalimed, focusing and closing ehr eyes one last time. This was getting really tiring, and as she didn't have the energy to go looking for where all of her friends went, she decided to do an area-teleportation spell.

 

One bright flash of light later, there they all were. Jumbled up in an awkward mess of hooves on the ground of Canterlot castle. Twilight noticed one pony in the group that she hadn't seen before. (Starbolt)

 

"Oh no!" She exclaimed, covering her mouth with a hoof. "Did-did I teleport you here by accident? I'm sorry!"

As soon as Princess Luna was about to step out onto the chariot the group of ponies that she was needing to get in contact with appeared just at the base of the stairs. "Girls!" Luna said in a loud voice of relief. "I was just on my way to Ponyville to try to help gather everypony if needed. I wish that these were better times, but unfortunately I have some very, very, bad news..." Luna said looking to all of them. "Twilight, you're probably going to take this the hardest... so I'm just going to come out and say it," she said giving a long sigh not liking what she had to say anymore than they would like to hear it. "Princess Celestia has been Kidnapped."

Starbolt was blinded by a flash of light.

"Oww what was that?"

Realizing that she is some where else at the same time the purple mare started talking to her.

"Oh its no problem really." She said smiling.

"But where are we? And did you cast that spell? I assume it was a teleportation spell thats amazing."

Starbolt notices Luna

"If she is here i am most probably at Canterlot. Wonder whats happening."

Starbolt listens to what Luna has to say.

"W-wait Celestia is missing?" She said with an expression of shock.

"How? When? What happened?"

Realizing she was out of place to ask these questions.

"Oh im sorry i shouldent even be here. Do you wish for me to leave?"

"Who could kidnap Princess Celestia who could possibly be stronger than her to overpower and kidnap her? Interesting."

Two balls of light appear and orbit around Starbolt.

Twilight blinked, shocked. "Her Royal Highness has been...kidnapped? Princess Celestia?" She spent a good few minutes staring at the floor in shock. "Wait, but....that can't be possible," she finally blurted out, agitated. "She's so powerful! And Canterlot castle is so well guarded. And she's got everypony watching out for her! And-and..." Twilight rambled on, still not comprehending what had just happened.

Assuming the panicing mare is Twilight from what Luna said.

"Umm Twilight calm down its all right." Starbolt puts a hoof on the purple mare to calm her down.

"Luna i am willing to help if thats alright with you."
