movies/tv Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom will use far more practical effects

A lot of people complained there was too much cgi in Jurassic World, well I'm not surprised, without Stan Winston(RIP) Legacy Effects really could not keep up.

But, this new director, JA Bayona(The Orphanage, The Impossible, A Monster Calls) is all for using as many practical effects as possible.

Legacy Effects is not involved, instead the current premiers of practical effects will be involved. The team is lead by Oscar winners Neal Scanlan(Babe, The Golden Compass, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Rogue One, The Last Jedi), Tom Woodruff Jr.Tremors, The Terminator, Starship Troopers, Aliens, Alien3, IT, Death Becomes Her) and Oscar nominee, Alec Gillis(Starship Troopers, IT, Spiderman, Alien3, Jumanji, Tremors)

and yes, puppets will be used just like in Jurassic Park and Lost World.

I just hope they make a better movie, because i didn't liked Jurassic world and i don't know why this became such a huge hit.

Jurassic Park was fun, entertaining, had great characters and even a deep message about how humanity shouldn't mess with nature and evolution. Jurassic World was nothing of that and just rode on the nostalgia train

I'm glad to see the return of more traditional effects. I have no problem with cgi but they're too often used as a crutch to give a movie 'spectacle'. Let the story be told without bogging it down and let traditional effects bring back the tension inherent in something real and tangible.

As long the next one have more horror thriller effect and people being eaten than the last one, i'm down for it.
