Also, that episode is kinda terrible. One of the worst in my list. Not to spoil anything but it is the way Scootaloo is acting in this one.

I forgot that the book had scoots aunts(but they had a slightly different design if I am not mistaken), but it's cool that something like that made it to the show from the book.

That's why I only celebrate a gay character when orientation is depicted as normal, not exceptional. 

I think there's room for both kinds of story. But I do like when I see being gay as just a thing. Like the girl in BOOKSMART. She's just a normal nerdy teen who wants someone to kiss and stuff. She just happens to like girls instead of boys.

I forgot which comic that was as well, but it wasn’t their first appearance either. Their definite first appearance was the third Ponyville Mysteries book
