My friend, you had been working in your place of work (de facto you were kept in prison) by all the week. You have written many texts after work. You have full right to have a rest!

You slept half of the day? WONDERFUL! Seriously! Why it would be a problem doing like that on weekend?

Besides you have many other "duties" in your free time (night walking, playing games, sleeping, watching movies, ............ you know......, taking photos, sunbathing your snoot etc.). Writing should be pleasure and be realized when you really feel that you want to write and when you have new splendid ideas. 

So night walk is a really good idea! Please take a good camera and make a lot of night wildlife photos to share them with us!

I am being moved to another role come Monday, so want to go look up a bunch of open source feeds for the data I will need, then I can "hit the ground running" - but this is also the weekend, and I am not getting paid to do it, so I want at least SOME lazy time before I start knucking down to work again.

I just hope you're not like me; a chronic procrastinator.  Fortunately, I've been picking up the pace as of lately, and I'm hoping to keep it that way; I only have about 18 more exams to do, after all.

Depends on what I am procrastinating about. I tend not to want to make major changes in my life - will make excuses for why I don't want to move house, change my car, whatever, but basically I am introverted and don't like things that threaten my comfort zone.

However, for things that match my skillset, I tend to throw myself into them and have to be told to take breaks, holidays and so forth - so I try to set aside some time for me to not be working. I do find that chatting on here is very distracting though and leads to me spending too much time pottering around on the site, other sites and looking though videos etc rather than going and getting back to work. That isn't necessarily a bad thing

Glad to hear it - the reality of the world is you won't get a chance to prove how good or bad you are in employment unless you have the right paper to get past the "candidate management systems" - so no pressure

I think most folks are like this, generally; not very many people like big changes in their lives.  While most people hate stagnation... for some, radical shifts can be just as bad, if not worse. Personally, I can empathize with this; I'm not the biggest fan of change either, but in some circumstances, it's simply better to let things change then to let them stagnate.

I honestly don't have any well-defined skills myself yet... so I'll just take your word here~!

Honestly, as much as it sucks, at this point, you can either comply... or not comply. You and I both know that the former is a much better idea than the latter (unless you're an entrepreneur or something).

Mine dearest friend *smiles daintily* I can't recall the last time I played games or watched movies, in the earnest. Yeah, writing should be a pleasure, thus I can't write in mine current state of mind.

I still need a good lightening source, as the camera is not that perfect as mine own sight at night time

Hey, I mayhap know the root of mine problems - the Moon is overshadowed and I feel weak and depressed, it shall change in a few days, at which time we start gaining.
