Somehow I always thought it had more than that, given how long its been running. 31 minutes ago, Key Sharkz said: To be honest it doesn't need more considering how tedious some of them are. One of the ones I'm working on is called "Map Room" it requires getting 9 completed maps and placing them on a wall together in a 3x3 square. Getting a single completed map can take hours, let alone 9. 14 minutes ago, Dark Horse said: Don't have any myself (most places claim they're "unprofessional") but I'm partial to tribal designs in particular. They look the most natural to me. 25 minutes ago, CypherHoof said: I am an avid supporter of ending the "unprofessional" claim on tattoos and piercings. I have never worked at a place where a customer left because I had piercings. No one goes to Walmart and goes "Oh shit, Sharon this cashier has a nose ring. Put all that stuff back, let's go somewhere else!" As far as tribals go... To be honest most of us in the tattoo/piercing world (it's sort of like a little community) actually hate those because they kind of are the most uncreative tattoos around. I highly encourage you to get something that means something to you because you will not regret it down the road. Something that has connection to you or represents a memory. I intend on getting a Rainbow Dash somewhere to remind me of the friends I made in the near 10 years I spent in this community. I've had ups and downs but MLP reminds me of a chapter of my life (that technically is still ongoing) that I made friends, had laughs and learned so much. It was also when I was entering my 20s so I was growing up and learning the real world for the first time. So that tattoo to me will represent those memories. I currently have the buttons to an SNES controller on my stomach because that represents my childhood. I had so many memories playing that system and it was one of the few ways I learned to connect with my brother. Video games became our way of getting closer and I cherish and treasure that. I think you should only get a tattoo if it means something to you. It doesn't matter how other people view it, it matters how you view it. A tattoo should spawn memories of your past, things that make you smile or feelings that make you stronger as a person. Something to remind yourself of good times or to remind yourself of when you overcame bad times. That's just me though. Sorry, I'm pretty passionate about the subject. I'm not the fan of having them myself (as much "piercing" as I can allow are the ear rings), but I have no tiny objection against other having... except if 't be true the tattoos have offensive content *dainty alicorn smile* Well it goes without saying having like a swastika on your forehead is a whole different monster. I just hate how jobs act like if you have a Nintendo character on your arm that suddenly you're less worthy of employment. Like they expect you to look like you're in uniform even when you're not at work but they don't wish to pay you for that. They want you to act and look like you're at work for free even when you're not there. I think that's asinine and it actually doesn't benefit the business at all. There is no research that suggests hiring people with tattoos or piercings harms business, in fact NOT hiring them may be hurting business because you're turning down qualified help over their right to freedom of expression. I think it's sad that so many people not only allow, but assist in corporations limiting people's freedom of expression for no real justifiable reason 90% of the time. If I work in an office signing papers all day, there is no job risk for having a nose ring. I can understand if there is a bonafide safety risk to something, but when there isn't it's just asinine. Here in Germany jobs actually have to PAY you to wear a uniform and they have to pay you for every restriction they make that affects you outside of work. That's how it should be in the states. If you are forcing me to do something that will affect me outside of work, I should be being compensated for that. Imagine if your job made you dye your hair a certain color. That color stays with you when you're not at work, so it affects your expression outside of work too. But you're expected to just suck it up and deal with it with no compensation for the fact that your personal life is affected by your job. I've grown to the point where I REFUSE To cut my hair a certain way, not have tattoos, etc. for a job. I will not change who I am for peanuts offered by the workplace. I'll wear the safety equipment, fine, I'll put my hair in a hairnet if I need to, and I'll follow all the safety procedures but if there is no safety reason for you restricting how I express myself, I'm not doing it.
