Gen 5 is already confirmed. We all will have to move on.

It's impossible to tell if it will suck or not, as it hasn't aired yet and everything about the new generation is still in the works. I don't think anyone right now could definitively tell you if the new generation will suck or not due to these reasons. 

Personally I remain optimistic about the new generation
