SilverSilence 3 May 23, 2012 Share May 23, 2012 I was talking on the official Colorado Brony Club and well...I mentioned we didn't have a Brony con, now everyone on the site wants me to help build a convention. I'm a little flattered and confused, I tried to contact the people who do BronyCon and I'm having some problems. I know I want to call it CBC: Colorado Brony Con, but I'm kind of nervous, i have several clubs here in Colorado that I already work with, Vampires Den 101 and Badge Collectors of Colorado. So I'm not sure how this is going to work. If anyone knows how to help a poor Pony out, please contact me or post

Anyway, thanks for the support, we do need all the help we can get, i'm excited and I think that we can pull this off and bring all the ponies together, Old Ponies and Bronies
Klopp 2,050 June 1, 2012 Share June 1, 2012 This thread appears to be related to the My Little Pony franchise and/or the Bronydom in general. Thus, it has been sentenced to Sugarcube Corner. This is an automatically generated message, by the way.
Queen Cassie 3,058 June 1, 2012 Share June 1, 2012 Wait a second, which Colorado Brony Club is this? I'm aware of the Colorado Bronies forum...is that the one you're referring to? Used to be known on here as Kyronea. Want to read psychological analyses of the Mane Six? Start here.
SilverSilence 3 June 1, 2012 Author Share June 1, 2012 Well...I mentioned it on there only after I mentioned it on Facebook. Now we're doing a planning for a convention for 2013 on June 7th...and also on skype at the same time...its kind of scary how this ended up happening...I'm still scared and a litlte nervous considering the clubs I already run. This is the first time I ever decided to take responsibility of something and work hard on getting something that should be great for all...and I hope all Bronies and Old Ponies don't get mad at me

FlutterNight 20 November 14, 2012 Share November 14, 2012 I think there is a facebook for the Rocky Mountain Ponycon, they just made the facebook page about a month ago. With enough sponsors and maybe a kickstarter hey, this could be a way to make a convention in Colorado. https://www.facebook.com/BronyconOfColorado this a good idea?
Creamy Arty 6,252 November 14, 2012 Share November 14, 2012 I think Bronycon is legally an entity, so I don't think you could call it that. You might try thinking of a pun, like Midwestria, or incorporating an element of the show into the name like was done with Cloudsdale Congress and Canterlot Gardens. 1 Kyoshi made this ^^ Come join us on Equestria.tv on Fridays at 6 PM Eastern for our weekly movie nights! joeycrawford 4 June 10, 2013 Share June 10, 2013 ok about pony cons in Colorado there is one that is up and running and accepting registrations. running of the leaves convention Colorado or http://rotlcon.com/ for short. Just thought i would let you know. 1 http://rotlcon.com/ "one small gift may save someones life" be kind to all, because you may just save the world from a mad one
RockinRarity 1,605 June 10, 2013 Share June 10, 2013 I think that people need to stop making so many cons... or just stick to organized meet ups. Cons are super expensive and lots of work, and if there is already a con less than 200 miles from you, why start another? Ohio has like 3-4 different cons and it doesn't make sense to have them all there. Canterlot Gardens was canceled for this year for a reason... I dunno, ever since Las Pegasus Unicon, I have been against the idea of people starting tons of cons, because that makes people think that every single con needs to be Bronycon level... and the more there are, the more pointless they seem. There is only so much you can do with a pony con without inviting big guests. It is possible to do that, and lots of cons do things that way, but lots more want to be Bronycon style, and people need to learn to be OK with having simpler pony events. No longer an option for me to stop. And trust me i have thought about it on multiple occasions but meh it will be worth it also colorado has been promised a con multiple times and is one of the best states in the country for such events. We don't make these cons for ourselves we make them for you guys. Also, off topic note grats on your wedding!!!! Just thought i would let you know. Thanks for letting me know. I've been waiting over a year for a local bronycon and none seemed to materialize. Nice to see that one is at least in the works and has a date. Would love to perform and would love to get Stars in Autumn on board as well (hour up NW from me). Sad to see this thread is so old but glad to see there's local people here. I think that people need to stop making so many cons... or just stick to organized meet ups. They're never going to be the same size or level but that's not really the point. It's more a small gathering that people will hopefully actually try to attend vs the standard lets have 10 people meet for coffee or go the art museum. I'd rather see several hundred make it a fun gathering than another year by with nothing. Some of us can't wisk off to the east or west coast for the real thing. I have made brony music since 2011. I like all kinds of music and genres. I'm sure you'll like some of it.. Here's My YouTube..I have several albums on Bandcamp and Pony.FM. Check out the 20+ Musician project Maressey which I am running. Check out the Brony Music Directory and FimMusic. A portal to all things Brony + Music.
