Sunlight just smiled during the conversation between the two stallions, then shrugging at the question "I'll leave the choice for Dynamo, we aren't in a hurry, but we do have more to do before we head back to Gentle." their only time limit was that Gentle would be making food at some point, and it wasn't nice to let food go to waste by taking too long. 

Jade:
"Yes and no, our friends don't know what we are, so they wouldn't be much help with things regarding it, and Dynamo...well, I don't know if he would be able to help me much but he definitely is there for Sunlight, though I still won't purposely go tell her something I know will cause her to feel down..."  Jade responded "...and regarding whoever lead us here, I doubt they will be back, after all, they have been away at least a decade based on the condition of this place, so why would they suddenly come back now."

Dynamo Pad:
"I'm not the best when being put into these kind of situations. There's too much pressure on making a decision..." Dynamo closed his eyes to contemplate, before sticking his tongue out playfully. "...I'm just kidding, but I might go with the latter option. While it would be nice to stay a little while longer, I think it would be better to go. Considering you said we had more to do, before going back home. Sorry about that Mr. Pinball..." Pinball shook his head and chuckled at his student's antics. "...That's quite alright, my boy. Business always beckons and I'm just glad I was able to see you again. Just make sure to visit whenever you can. Don't be a stranger now, okay? It was also great to meet you, Miss Sunlight..." Dynamo nodded as he gave one last hug to Pinball, who returned the embrace. Dynamo soon let go of the hug and made his way back over to Sunlight. "...You've got it, sir. I'll do my best to visit more often. We might be here for a few more days. It was great to see you again too..." "...We have to get going. Talk to you again real soon, Mr. Pinball!" He waved as he began making his way out of the arcade.

Dew Drop:
“Oh, I didn’t mean that. I meant more along the lines of your friends just being there for you in general. Even if you would have to make up a sort of excuse as to how you are feeling. Especially when your friends don’t exactly know what you really are...” Dew explained something as to clear up any confusion. “...I would say that Dynamo could help. It just all depends on what he and I could do to help be there for you and your sister. While I wouldn’t keep anything from anypony, I guess it’s okay to not say anything. I guess some things are better left unsaid...” The ebony pegasus looked around, while taking not of all the dust and cobwebs that covered the bookshelves and furniture. “...I guess you have a point. This place does look very unkept. Almost as if this house was abandoned. I would be horrified if this was like a garden that was not cared for...” She joked slightly, but she still wondered who could have lived here. “...I could only guess they came back to feel nostalgic? I guess that wouldn’t really make much sense, but perhaps they wanted to visit for old times sake. I wonder if whoever lived here wanted to see if you and/or Sunlight had found the book.”

Sunlight gave a polite nod as a response to Pinball's comment to her, and waved when they left. 
"Was there something more you wanted to show me or shall we head for the books?" she asked when they got outside, she didn't fully remember their plans and she didn't bother to dig the missing part up for now.

Jade:
"It really depends on the thing, when it comes to the worst possibilities for our existence, nopony who doesn't know the truth wouldn't be able to understand the feelings, in fact, even somepony who did know wouldn't necessarily be able to understand..." Jade replied. He exhaled amused at Dew's garden joke, and for her last point he hummed in though "...considering how...planned everything was, I doubt there's any old times to remember, it's possible that whoever is behind all this, never lived here and made it just for us to find."

Dynamo Pad:
As the couple made their exit of the arcade, Dynamo turned to Sunlight as they walked. "There was something more that I wanted to show you, but I was thinking that maybe it could be after the books? I guess it depends on how many books you were going to be given. I know we brought our saddlebags along to help carry those books, right? If not, then maybe it would be better for when we are done having dinner at home." 

Dew Drop:
"I guess I can see what you are trying to say. If one were to explain in detail to someone, then maybe they would have a bit of an understanding. It just depends as not everyone will be able to understand. If the secret was kept for so long and you knew that individual as a great friend, then lying would be brought up in the equation. I know I might not be able to fully understand, but I feel like I understand enough to still accept you for who you are..." She smiled softly as she knew she truly loved and cared for her coltfriend. Upon listening to Jade's remark, her jaw dropped slightly as she looked on in slight shock. "...Seriously? If that's the case, then that individual must have really went out of their way to set this up for you and Sunlight. You'd think they'd have this home as a sort of starting point to their career/life, or as a getaway in case something had happened."

"I don't have my bags, but I was promised I would get something to carry them with from there..." Sunlight replied "....and for how many there will be, I don't know, as it depends on what exactly there is, it can be that none of them will come with us, or it can be that over 10 or something will come."

Jade:
"Ultimately all I can do is to speculate, but if we are to assume the pony...or creature behind this is the one who is being rumored about, and if everything said about him is true, it is not impossible that he would know enough to make something like this just for us..." Jade said as he started making his way outside "...the only question is, why? and this journal may just be the answer."

Dynamo Pad:
"Okay and that's good to know. At least the pony we have to visit will be able to accommodate us with some bags for the books..." Dynamo replied with a nod. "...It would be kind of counterproductive if we got bags for the books, but then not having to take any of the books home. So, I can imagine that we'll more than likely taking the books home..." Dynamo chuckled, before an idea had come to mind. "...Actually,  I think it can work out like this. We can go and visit the pony with the books first. Afterwards, we'll go home to drop off our belongings if we have anything to take with us. That, and to have dinner and let my mom know of what's going on. Considering she might want to try and talk with you some more. Later tonight, I can take you to the other place I was thinking of visiting."

Dew Drop:
"If that's the case, then you'd think they would place some sort of memory into your mind. A memory that this house would replicate the house you were living in back home. Actually, would something like that even be possible? To replicate a home without even thinking about the details...?" Dew shook her head as she couldn't make heads or tails on the matter. "...Why as in why would this pony or creature go to such great lengths? I'm not entirely sure. What I do know is that it may be a guess, but the answers have to be in that journal. I just hope it will be answers that you and Sunlight truly need..." "...So, what's the plan for now? Should we head back home and try to let you translate some of the text?"

"Not necessarily, because if all the books are something I have seen before, there's no need to take them..." Sunlight pointed out "...and sounds like a plan, follow me then." she started leading Dynamo towards their destination. 

Jade:
"If the cat-pony is behind this, he certainly knows more than should be possible, just like everypony who has met him say, I just hope he's on our side if that's the case..." Jade said holding the door for Dew "...and we can head back if you want, there's nothing more to do here, and there's no much time before it gets dark outside."

Dynamo Pad:
"Not to mention that you are able to store what you've read into your mind. So, there's not much of a reason to take a book if you're able to memorize them all. Granted, there's possibly the idea to take a book that's a good read. I guess when you've seen one book, then you've seen them all..." Dynamo added with a slight chuckle. "...That sounds good to me. Lead the way, my dear." He says, following Sunlight, who was leading them towards their destination.

Dew Drop:
"Do you mean the cat-pony that you had mentioned about meeting a long time ago? I wonder what significant role he would have played? If it's like you said about how everypony has met him, then he must know more than he's letting on. Especially if he knew something about this house. Along with how all of those cat creatures had lead us here..." Dew smiled kindly at Jade, before making her way out of the house. She turned around and waited for Jade to join her in stepping outside. "...I hope he's on our side too. It would be great to meet him someday. Maybe he could provide us answers as to what's been going on. If there's nothing more to do here, then I think it would be good to get back home. It can be difficult to see in the dark at times. Especially, when having to fly through a forest." She says, looking up to see that it was indeed getting late in the sky.

Sunlight:
Their destination wasn't far from the arcade, and until Dynamo had something to say, Sunlight wouldn't talk during the travel. 

They would arrive next to a old looking brick building, it looked like it may used to be a factory of some kind, but was now used by a blacksmith based on the signs outside, and the latter was confirmed when they got inside, as the inside was filled with everything from weapons and armor to decorative things made from metal. From the backroom came out a red unicorn "Greetings..." he scanned the couple with his eyes quickly before continuing "...you must be Sunlight." he gave a friendly smile and Sunlight nodded "Yes, and I take you're Mustang?" Mustang nodded "Yes I am, the books are here." he then gestured them to follow and went back to the backroom.

The backroom was the smithy, and there wasn't really anything you wouldn't expect from one, but Sunlight and Dynamo would soon find that they were being watched, as something small, orange and very dragon looking stared at them from top of a shelf "Don't mind Iba, she doesn't really like strangers coming to this side of the building." 

Jade:
"If he wanted to meet he would have done so already..." Jade pointed out as he took flight and waited for Dew "...Until of course he's waiting for the right moment, in which case there would be even more questions."

Dynamo Pad:
There wasn't much to say as it was a comfortable silence between the two. Dynamo continued to look around at what had changed in town, before taking notice of an old looking brick building. To Dynamo, it looked like a sort of factory building, but based on the sign outside. It looked as if this was used by a blacksmith. "Huh. I was expecting we would have gone to a library to get the books, but I didn't think we would be going to a blacksmith building. To be fair, I guess I should have asked, but this is definitely a change in pace..." He vaguely remembered the building was a factory that manufactured and shipped glasses to goods that were in stock. It had closed down a few years ago. Just before he had moved away, but he came to the conclusion that someone had taken ownership of the building once more.

Walking inside, the building was housed to many different types of weaponry and decorative things placed on the various walls. Dynamo slowly spun around as he had never seen so many weapons in one building. He remembered his father telling him that blacksmith's and welder's were the same, but their jobs were different. He now knew just how right his dad was. He slowly faced forward as the sound of hoof steps were becoming present. From out of the backroom, a red unicorn with a brown mane held up in a ponytail had appeared. The blue unicorn noticed the scratch markings on the red pony's back legs, top of their back and on the right side of his face. He almost winced and wondered what could have happened, but he didn't want to seem rude. Seeing the smile, as well as learning the pony's name. Dynamo smiled softly as Mustang seemed pretty friendly at first glance. He walked alongside Sunlight as they followed Mustang into the backroom. Upon entering, the blue unicorn felt a slight chill run up and down his spine. Almost as if he was being watched, but he couldn't explain why. "...Iba? I hope you don't mind me asking, but who is that?" He looked around, before thinking he noticed a small, orange dragon atop a shelf.

Dew Drop:
As Jade ascended into the air, Dew took flight to follow her coltfriend. "I know this might sound out of the blue, but have you ever had to do an inspection on your artificial bodies? If so, do you suppose there could be a tracker chip implanted on either of you? I know it might be a stretch of a guess, but maybe that would explain if they are waiting for the right time to meet. Sort of tracking your moves to know where you and your sister might have gone to."

"I am." The orange dragon said, taking off and flying on Mustang's back, where it then sat down and kept looking at the visitors, her movements and sitting style were very cat like, which looked a bit out of place for a dragon. If one was to look closely, they could notice that the scars on Mustang matched in size to Iba's claws. Iba would ignore any attempt to speak to her, Mustang wasn't kidding when he said she didn't like visitors being here. 

Mustang kept leading them through doors, first to what looked like his living quarters, and finally to an empty room in the basement with a hole in the wall, behind which seemed to be a collapsed bookshelf, next to which was a pile of very old looking, partly ruined books . "The floor above had started cracking so I wanted so see if there was something wrong with the supports and broke a part of the wall off, and to my surprise there was no supports, and instead there was this bookshelf. I know that this basement was here before the factory, and was just reused by the factory, so I contacted the authorities in case there's something I shouldn't have mixed in" Sunlight looked at the books "Thank you, I can take it from here, I'll let you know when I know what these are." 

Jade:
"By somepony else, no..." Jade stated  "...we have looked into the materials and such of our bodies, but no pony have gotten close enough that it could be called inspection, and especially not without our disguises...or well, besides Dynamo possibly, it's not my business what he and Sunlight do with each other after all..." "...and for your theory, I doubt we wouldn't notice a chip like that at some point, until of course it's put in by our creator, which brings only more questions as always.

Dynamo Pad:
Upon hearing a voice, Dynamo noticed the voice belonging to the orange dragon. Now knowing that said dragon was named Iba, Dynamo watched as Iba flew off of the shelf as she landed onto Mustang's back. The blue unicorn had taken notice that Mustang's scars and Iba's claws were similar. Dynamo chose to only nod as he knew it wasn't his place to ask. That, and he was somewhat surprised to see another dragon outside of Ponyville. He had seen dragon students and Spike, but not another dragon in in hometown. The gaming stallion followed alongside Sunlight, while Mustang led the couple through multiple doors. One room leading to what seemed to be Mustang's living quarters, before entering an empty room in the basement. Inside the room was a hole in the wall, which held a collapsed bookshelf. Next to the shelf were a bunch of old, partly ruined books. "Huh. I didn't think anything like this would be hidden within a factory building..." He muttered to himself as he was listening to Mustang's response. He raised an eyebrow in curiosity, while Mustang explained about there were no supports. "...It's a wonder that the floor above hadn't caved in without any supports. You'd think that the ones who owned the factory would have looked into it to make sure their building was safe from harm." He wasn't expecting a response as he knew the factory had been closed for a few years.

Dew Drop:
As she listened to Jade, Dew could only nod and shrug her shoulders as she understood that her question was only a guess. At the same time, it could have also been seen as sort of a theory. "Okay and you make a fair point. The only ponies who know of you and your sister are both myself and Dynamo. If there was a way to ask a professional that would be able to look into this, then it would make an inspection all the more easier. Although, that's easier said than done. Considering that it's difficult to find trust in others these days. There's also the fear that they might just accidentally say something, before others stop at nothing to find out the truth..." "...I wish I would be able to know. Studying plants and flowers feels somewhat similar, but I know it's different. Since you study plants and look to see and inspect if anything has changed over time..." "...I understand and it was just a theory in mind. It just bothers me that your creator made you and Sunlight, but they just disappear without an explanation. There could have been a sort of instructions as to why they made you and why they had to leave. The list goes on and on, but it only leads to more questions being piled up. I just wonder if they had to leave for some purpose, of if they were being targeted and they had to run away." She responds, waiting patiently for Jade so they could start flying back towards their home.

"I believe the bookshelf worked as a support to certain extend until it collapsed when I made the whole in the fall..." Mustang started as Sunlight started going through the books "...and after examining the space I concluded that the cracks were caused by something else, as the part of the wall didn't seem like it actually supported anything anyway. The problem is probably in the floor." he explained while petting Iba, Iba reacted to the petting like a cat would. 

Jade:
"Our creator didn't necessarily disappear, in fact, I'd say it's more likely that we are the ones who disappeared, because like I have stated, I don't believe we come from Equestria..." Jade pointed out "...after all, our technology is far beyond anything any known creature has access to, and even our materials are such that we are yet to figure out what exactly they are."

Dynamo looked to the wall as he examined the hole Mustang had mentioned. He wondered how the floor they were on hadn't collapsed by now. Whether it was by decent foundation or that nobody had gone into this area, the blue unicorn wasn't sure. "It kind of makes you wonder if this was here before the building was created. The only time I knew about this building was back when it was a factory. It was a place that would manufacture and ship reading and seeing eye glasses. Along with other belongings and such that ponies would place orders on. Of course, that was when I thought this would be a temporary job after graduating school. Once I gained my cutie mark, that idea all changed entirely. I found work in an arcade, became an apprentice and found my way to Ponyville..." Dynamo sighed, thinking how so much had changed by destiny. "...Did you happen to know what that something was to make the cracks, Mr. Mustang? If this is all in the basement, then it might not have happened by co-workers, or something along those lines. It just seems odd to not have something supported if this building has been here for possibly a number of years." He looked to Mustang, who was petting Iba.

Dew Drop:
"You said that you had woken up in a crater, right? You suddenly woke up and had every known information about Equestria, as well as knowing the two of you were siblings..." Dew responded, recalling some of the earlier mentions of Jade's first moments upon waking up. "...Perhaps you were sent through space, or maybe something else? I've heard of some talk about alternate dimensions or universes. It's a sort of quiet conversation when somepony is in a library. I've had to get books that were on plant species and/or medicinal herbs. So, it would make sense as you just said that you don't believe that you're from Equestria."

"Like I stated before, this basement has been here longer than the factory building, it was reused due to it's good condition, that also explains the lack of support, as it was never build to hold a factory. And the cracks, it's simply age and use, stone based buildings have the habit of cracking  with time."

Jade:
"I actually never said we were in a crater, and like I told you when I told you my theories, space and other worlds are on the top of the list when it comes to where we could be from..." Jade didn't necessarily mind that Dew seemed to have forgotten things, but he hoped he wouldn't need to repeat them too many times. 

 

(at least I can't find any mention of crater and don't remember writing it.)

"I understand, but it does make me wonder how long this basement was here for. Considering it's like how you said. This basement was here way before the factory was built. Kind of makes you wonder if there was something here, before the factory was created..." Dynamo responded with a shrug of his shoulders. "...I think I learned about stone based buildings in history class, but I guess I forgot as it's been a while..." He looked towards Sunlight as he walked up next to her. "How's the research going, Sunny? Did you happen to find anything interesting?"

Dew Drop:
As Jade went on to explain, Dew blinked as she gave Jade an apologetic look. "Oh. I'm really sorry about that, Jade. I guess I must've been overthinking some things. I thought you had mentioned a crater before when you said you had woken up, but I guess I must have been mistaken."

"Most books are ruined, but there has been few I'll need to take a look at, so we aren't leaving empty hoofed..."  Sunlight replied, moving the books into two piles, one notably bigger than the other "...these seem to be spell books, mostly common stuff what you'd find in a library, but the few I'll be taking with me are concerning."

Jade:
"You shouldn't apologize for not having perfect memory..." Jade simply stated "...especially considering that our conversation about the topic was rather long."

At the mention of books that needed to be taken, Dynamo nodded as he took notice of the two piles of books. "I'm starting to see which pile of books that we'll be taking with us..." He jokingly chuckled with a nod. "...I'm guessing that while most of the books are ruined. Some of the other books are a little difficult to translate, or something along those lines. Considering from what Mustang had said about these books being here before the factory..." He nodded at the mention of some spell books seemed pretty interesting. His expressions started to turn serious at his marefriend's last comment. "What do you mean, Sunny? Concerning in what way? Is everything okay?"

Dew Drop:
Upon hearing Jade's response, Dew could only nod in understanding. "I guess you're right. It's just so much information to process all at once. It just feels like we had learned so much, but there's so many more questions now more than ever."

"I don't know yet..." sunlight calmly stated, continuing with her work "...I only looked them quickly through, but I recognized few things that may require more direct attention from the princess...." there wasn't many books left to go through, as she was quite quick at what she did "...that's all i'm allowed to say, since if they are what I think they are, they are for the princess's eyes only."   Mustang had made his way back upstairs. 

Jade:
"And only more questions will arise." Jade concluded, not having anything more to say, and until Dew said something, he wouldn't talk before they arrived to Dew's place "And here we are, you still want me to come inside?"

Upon hearing Sunlight's response, Dynamo nodded and tried to stay quiet. Making sure not to disturb Sunlight as she was working. "Some of these things might be involved with the Princess...?" He raised an eyebrow in surprise. He was hoping to learn more, but he frowned as the information was regarded as confidential. "...I guess I shouldn't be surprised. Although, I guess it has me a bit curious. I hope it's nothing too alarming that would regard the fate of Equestria. I know it might not be the case, but one can only wonder what information these books can have." He wondered aloud as he knew so many evil forces had threatened Equestria in the past. He looked over to see that Mustang was nowhere to be seen. It looked as if he had made his way back upstairs.

Dew Drop:
"With more questions to arise, then hopefully more answers will make themselves known, as well." Dew concluded with a nod. There was nothing more to say as it was comfortable silence, before the couple made their way back towards Dew's home. Upon hearing Jade's question, Dew turned around and gave her coltfriend a mock glare and pout. "Of course and you don't need to ask me something like that. I told you before that this home is your home now too. That is, if you still wanted to move to Manehatten, of course."

"I can say enough to tell you that it has nothing to do with the fate of Equestria, if anypony tried to use these to do something that big, they would be taken care of before they would be even able to start..." Sunlight explained "...not everything bad is out to destroy Equestria, as hard it is sometimes to believe."

Jade pointed out with a humorous smile "...besides, wouldn't be the first time when mare has put a stallion to sleep outside because she's mad at him for reasons he doesn't understand..." he was clearly joking "...in all seriousness though, minds can change, and I don't want to pressure you to anything."

Upon hearing Sunlight's reply, Dynamo quietly gave a thankful sigh. "That's a relief. I'm guessing whatever is in those books are definitely important..." Dynamo chuckled slightly, before shrugging his shoulders. "...I guess, but I guess it feels somewhat like a trend. There's always someone out there who wants to threaten Equestria. That, or it's a random monster attack from out of nowhere. Of course, that sometimes mostly happens in Ponyville. It has been pretty peaceful as of late. So, I guess there's a point that's been made."

Dew Drop:
The ebony pegasus smiled as she began listening to Jade's remark. "Well, if that's the case, then would you like to sleep outside for the evening? I can get you a blanket and pillow. Just in the off chance you find a nice tree to sleep in..." She giggled as she was joking around. "...I know what you mean as you said minds can change. I like you for who you are and you're my coltfriend. You aren't pressuring me Jade and it's all up to you. If you wanted to move here, then I'm not one to stop you. Who knows? I could move back to Ponyville with you. No matter what, I'm just glad to be with you." Dew explained with a loving smile.

"That's the life in Equestria...." Sunlight said as she went through the last few books, she ended up taking 6 books and leaving the rest, Mustang had brought old looking saddlebags on the doorway, though he was still somewhere upstairs "...Threats have become so common that ponies almost get worried if nothing happens for a while." she noticed the bags and packed the books in them.

Jade:
Jade chuckled at the joke.
"I know, but I want to make sure, last thing I want to do is to force somepony to do something they don't want to do..." he explained "...and I don't think moving to Ponyville would be a right choice, because even ignoring that my apartment is lot worse choice to your home, it would be a bad idea to leave your shop behind."

As Sunlight had taken six books from the book stack, Dynamo looked near the doorway to see old looking saddlebags had been placed. He assumed that Mustang must have placed them there in the off chance they were to take some belongings with them. "I guess danger is sort of a necessity in Equestria. I'm not sure if that's the right word, but it feels like the word fits. Whether it be threats from villains or random monster attacks. It all seems so common nowadays. It's sort of like those funny stories in the Ponyville Press. Where some ponies are just sitting there, before a speech bubble appears. The ones that say a month has gone by and nothing bad has happened. I always get a chuckle as something like that always feels relatable..." As Sunlight had packed the books in the saddlebags, Dynamo had walked over and placed one of the saddlebags on his back. "...Since we're taking six books, I'll take three and you take three. Considering there's two saddlebags for us, right?"

Dew Drop:
Dew giggled at the joke, before looking at the green stallion with a kind, yet serious look. "I appreciate your concern, but there's nothing to worry about. "Moving shop is more complicated than just moving the things you're selling, you would need to gather new customers and so on and so on..." Jade pointed out "...but that aside, shall we go inside or were you planning to spend the night on the street?" he then said humorously, as they were still just standing outside Dew's door.
