Sekiro is From software's next major game. Directed by Hideteki Miyazaki, who also worked on The Souls series and Bloodborne.

The game is coming to PS4, Xbox One and PC.

It will be a departure from the Souls style, focusing on more of a ninja gameplay. With "sword clashing combat".

No multiplayer or RPG elements, it will be more story focused.

Please give your thoughts on the game now and as more is revealed about it.

I personally cannot wait for the game, it seems like something fresh and exciting from Fromsoftware.

The choice of Activision as the publisher though is perplexing.

After reading OP post, what I was expecting from trailer: Dark Souls

What I got from trailer: Dark Souls

What I will do with the game: Not buy it because I do not want to support Activision in any way.

The gameplay may seem more fluid than DS, it's different setting for sure as well, but after watching it... boss fights and stuff, it still look a lot like DS, like, really a lot.

It's not gonna be anything like Dark Souls.

Also, Activision publishing shouldn't be reason to not support it. They won't meddle with development, support it to support Fromsoftware

Looks pretty awesome to me, might give it a whirl with more info.

I personally don't care about Activision and all of that jazz... I don't personally jump into camps or anti-camps. If the game is good and fun, I will play it even if the company putting it out does a lot of crap at times.
