So this leads me to believe that I may consider jumping ship from Youtube to an alternative site. What do you all recommend at the moment? My sights may be set for d.tube or Peertube. That's........ kinda a hard one, as like many have already said on here, YouTube is like the mega-massive video site, it really has no noticeable competition simply due to the fact of how many more videos YouTube has when compared to those other sites. I have gone on there occasionally and seem some pretty good results for gaming videos. Though it is true that nothing matches Youtube right now, something that we all know, it is likely something is going to come along and beat them before we know it. And if u go on news sites they sometimes host their own content. Daily motion hosts some stuff. And vimeo has professional content. I often see people upload blocked content or mirror stuff on bit chute. And there is fb video and instagram tv. And yeah streamer sites too ofc. For streams you can go to Twitch, for short videos you can go to TikTok and Facebook Reels, for music you can head over to Spotify, and for TV there's Peacock.
