"Video?" Oliver repeated, and leaned over to look at Jenna's phone.

He watched the events take place, and the explosion and what looked like a portal with beings coming out of it left a terror in the pit of his stomach.

"What the...?" was all he could say.

"Indeed." Jenna responded as she put her phone away "That was a video from someone who claims to be one of those who had those coordinates in their letter, and based on how they moved, they too had some kind of powers." "And if that video is real, this is lot worse than someone trying to harm us."

Oliver's eyes widened with terror at the idea of that video coming about because someone also received a letter. He remembered the one he and Jenna got.

"Then... what's gonna happen to us?" he asked quietly. "We got a note too."

"Isn't it obvious?" Jenna asked "The thing we saw in the video will happen at this school 3 pm tomorrow." "I still don't know what we have to do with this, but my guess is whoever sent the letters thinks that those with powers could help with whatever it is we saw." "That's really the only reason I can come up with for us getting the letters."

Oliver thought about the... whatever they were that came out of the portal in that video and almost whimpered like a dog.

"What can I do about that?" he asked. "You have really cool powers, but mine won't be much help if something can do that."

Jenna shrugged "I don't know." "I don't think even I could do much to something like that, i have my limits too." her usual tough demeanor was breaking and she started to act anxious, she may have had powers and great skill, but she was just a human like everyone else. "I don't even know what that is."

"Me neither," Oliver muttered, looking back at Jenna's phone, then up at her. He could see the anxiety on her face, and he could tell she was just as nervous as he was.

He bit his lip. "Maybe we shouldn't go."

"I don't think it matters what we do." Jenna said staring towards the field "Whatever came out of that thing was huge in numbers, and as far as we know, they are still coming." "So, it's very likely that regardless of where we are, they will reach it eventually." luckily even when anxious, Jenna was level-headed and thus able to think clearly.

Oliver almost whimpered at the thought of being hunted down by... whatever those things were. He didn't know, nor did he want to know what they were. He didn't ask to be part of all this.

"So, what do we do...?"

Jenna just shrugged "I'm guessing military will start evacuating people soon enough, that would explain why they were preparing the shelters, what we saw would actually explain everything the militaries of the world have done." she looked at her hand, a strip of ground went up her leg to her hand and was moving around her hand like it was alive "I'm not going to lock myself into a bunker, that I know." she made the strip of ground slither from her hand to hand like a snake "So I guess I'll just sit down and watch the word end." it was clear she was still anxious, but it seemed that as the reality sank in, she got calmer "I really see no other choice than try to do something, either we lose, in which case I'd rather go down fighting than sitting underground, or we can actually do something, and hiding would make losing more likely."  the strip suddenly launched forward and piece of it separated, flying like and arrow and sticking to the ground, the strip that was left around Jenna lowered back into the ground like it had never existed.

"You're going to fight whatever those things are?" Oliver gasped. The image flashed in his head of Jenna facing those monsters, all alone while he watched from the safety of a bunker. The thought made him feel nauseous.

He shook his head, took a deep breath and gently held Jenna's hand. "Then I'll fight with you. I don't know how much help I'd be, but I won't watch you do it on your own."

"I'd say you shouldn't but I know that wouldn't help." Jenna said, without clear emotion "But don't say you wouldn't be any help, we don't know yet what it was we saw, as far as we know they could be scared of dogs." her tone indicated she was making a joke, but it was clear she didn't actually think it was a funny one, though that probably wasn't surprising considering the topic. She then seemed to realize something an looked towards where the classes were "Shouldn't the bell have rang already?"

Oliver blinked at what Jenna said. Even if it was clearly a joke, it was also a possibility. He rubbed the back of his head, blushing. "I never thought of that. Maybe they are scared of wolves."

He looked around the gym. "Now that you mention it, I didn't hear the bell either."

Jenna gestured Oliver to follow and made her way to the hallway, and it seemed that everyone had gathered into the cafeteria that was near "Oh, the TV, of course." she muttered. She then went to look in, and as she had expected, on the TV there was news, and it was showing what Oliver and Jenna had just seen, just from different perspective, since the news copter was flying. From this perspective it could be seen that the darkness that had suddenly taken over in the video they had watched wasn't just the forest getting darker, as it seemed that even the sky above the portal thing was dark as night, even though it was bright day everywhere around it.

Oliver looked in with Jenna, watching the TV. His heart sank when he saw what he'd watched on Jenna's phone. He looked at her, biting his lip.

"What is all that stuff?" he muttered. "Demons or something?"

Jenna shrugged "No Idea." "But whatever it is, it somehow makes the surrounding area dark." she seemed thoughtful, though it was clear she was still worried "I wonder if this is some kind of multiverse thing, or if this is related to religion or something else supernatural." "Regardless, that really looks like a portal of some kind."

Oliver frowned, still watching the events on TV take place. "It definitely looks supernatural; I don't think some kind of church wants to do something like that. Unless they're one of the really creepy ones you hear about."

"I didn't mean that exactly." Jenna pointed out "I just meant that if it's related to something religion related, like if it's hell or something." "I mean, I'm not religious by any stretch, but I can't say I believed that something like that could happen either."

Oliver shrugged. "I can change into a wolf and a human form, and you can move stuff around and change their shape with your fingers. I don't think a real hell would be too out of the question at this point."

"You're not wrong." Jenna said, she couldn't really argue with that "But there has to be something not-supernatural with this one too, since it seemed like that the military's equipment detected something before the portal thing appeared, even if it was only seconds before." "I think the biggest question in all this is how the militaries of the world knew to prepare for this, how would they know about something like this?"

Oliver nodded slowly. "That's a good point. This isn''t exactly something that happens all the time, but they seem to know just what to do?"

He looked at Jenna. "Do you think they've always known about this stuff?"

"No and maybe." Jenna responded "I don't think they have known about this specifically for long, because if they would have known, I don't see why they would wait this late to prepare." "But it is possible that they have known about the existence of whatever this is, it's no secret that governments and their different organizations know lot of stuff they don't tell."

"I hope they at least tell people what to do about all this," Oliver said, looking around him. "I've never seen anything like it before, and I don't think many other people have either. How do we defend ourselves?"

"They have to, the secrecy is gone." Jenna agreed "But like I said earlier, my guess is that the solution will be mass evacuation." she couldn't say anything more as the school's radio came on and unfamiliar voice announced that from this point on the school would be closed until further notice, and that all students and staff are expected to leave the building during the next hour.

Oliver's eyes widened at the announcement just as Jenna stopped speaking. "I guess you called it," he muttered.

He watched as students and teachers started to leave, and looked back at her. "What do we do now?"
