Oliver nodded in agreement. "I don't smell any strange scents either. Just a few mice hre and there."

He walked up to Jenna and looked around the guard's post. "What do you use this room for?" he asked.

"Mostly storage." Jenna said as as she pulled out a radio "Not that there's much to store." she then walked back to the main space and created a table from the floor, then she put the radio on it and attached her music player to the radio. "I like to listen to music while I train, I'll show you few more moves and then let you practice them with something you don't need to worry about hurting." she turned the radio on, but she turned the volume quite low for now. "But first, considering the situation, we need to skip the basics, so, choose what feels best to use." as she said it, she created bunch of different weapons using the material from the floor.

Oliver nodded, smiling. He liked the idea of some background noise while they trained.

He looked at the weapons Jenna created, and gingerly picked up a sword. "I'll use this one, I guess," he said, not used to using weapons apart from his claws and fangs.

"I'll leave the other's there if you change your mind." Jenna said, creating identical sword for herself "We don't have much time, so you won't become professional, even close, but you should be able to learn enough to use the weapon against someone not trained to combat it." she explained as she created two humans shaped statues from the ground "These are our practice dummies, I made them weaker than the sword so that you don't hurt yourself." "So, first, hold the sword like this...." she would then proceed to teach Oliver the basics of using sword, explaining, showing examples, and fixing any beginner mistakes. After it seemed like Oliver was getting hang of it, she would make her own 'dummy' disappear and observe Oliver.

Oliver followed closely what Jenna was saying and doing, trying not to overthink it. It seemed easy enough, just a few simple swings. He seemed to be getting the hang of it, at least a little, so he kept on attacking his 'dummy', not realising how closely she was watching.

Jenna fixed the 'dummy' now and then as it broke apart from hits by the notably more durable sword, that was the only way to make a target that didn't hurt Oliver's hands when he hit it with the concrete sword. She would observe Oliver for a while more before giving few suggestions what he could do better, and after that was done she turned her own sword into a staff and said "You seem to be getting hang of it pretty well so I'll leave you to it for now, I'll go do my own thing but feel free to come to me if you have anything to ask." she then gave him a smile and walked a bit to the side and created another 'dummy', but unlike the one that Oliver practiced on, this one had a staff and it moved, and Jenna started battling with it, though it was pretty obvious there wasn't really any challenge there, and why would there be, she was basically fighting herself.

Oliver nodded and went back to training again, swinging the sword at the dummy. He slowed as he saw Jenna train against a moving dummy, and outright stopped to watch her. She was really good, the way she moved making it hard for him to look away.

Oliver would most likely notice how Jenna used her powers with the staff as the weapon made movements that solid concrete staff just wouldn't be able to make. She got more and more aggressive as she continued, and after putting more and more strength behind her hits, she ended it by slamming her leg against the ground, sending a wave towards the dummy that shattered it. She then flattened the floor back to normal and took a deep breath.

Oliver kept watching, transfixed by what Jenna was doing. Blending her powers into her movements to make her attacks stronger, getting more aggrssive. The stomp took him by surprise by how powerful it was.

"You're so awesome," he blurted out when she was finished.

Jenna turned her head towards Oliver "Oh, you were watching." she said as she made the staff sink into the ground "Of course you were." she added with a smile "I just needed to let out some steam." she walked to her school bag and took  out a bottle of water and drank some water.

Oliver followed Jenna over to her bag, still smiling all the while. "I've never seen you do stuff like that, it was so awesome!"

He suddenly looked quite relaxed about what was happning, confident even.

"Of course you haven't, wouldn't be hiding my powers too well if I did something like that often." Jenna pointed out in relaxed tone "But what I did really only works on things I have created myself, against people or other things not connected to the material, it would topple them over at best." she started to sit down and as she did, a bench appeared under her from the floor..

Oliver watched as the bench formed under Jenna, eyes wide again. "Still, the fact you can do that so easily is just so cool!" He grinned and sat next to her. "Maybe you could use that if we get in any trouble?"

"I have to use it of we get in trouble, there's only so many opponents that I can fight at once using only a weapon." Jenna replied "And though all of this seems easy, and well, it is, there's a point where it's no longer easy and takes concentration and wears me out, and considering how many of whatever they were was coming out of that thing, I may hit my limit quickly." she didn't want to make Oliver worry again but this was something she was really worried about.

Oliver frowned, not liking the idea of Jenna being overcome by those things. He doubted it could happen, but the fear of it was still there.

"Well, I'll be with you," he assured her, smiling, "so I'll protect you if you need it."

Jenna smiled "And i'm glad you are." she looked Oliver to the eyes, certain seriousness in her expression "And I really do mean it..." she put her hand on his shoulder "...I may act tough and like nothing scares me, but it's all just that, an act, I'm just like everyone else, I'm absolutely terrified, and I honestly think that I couldn't handle any of this without you, both mentally and physically." she then pulled Oliver to a hug, a tight hug, and she was shaking.

Oliver wasn't sure what to think at first. He always thought nothing could scare Jenna, but it turned out she was just as scared as he was. He didn't know why, but knowing that made him feel more comfortable; he wasn't alone in being afraid.

He put his arms around her, holding her tight. "I don't think I could without you either. But I'm with you all the way."

Jenna didn't say anything and just stayed in the hug, it felt good to be able to drop the tough-act for the time being, and she wanted it to last as long as possible. The good feeling wasn't the only reason she didn't want to back away though, as she had also started to tear up but didn't want to start crying in front of Oliver.

Oliver kept holding Jenna close to him, since she didn't seem to want to let go yet. He could feel she needed cheering up, and he had an idea.

"Hey, this might sound a little weird," he said quietly, "but do you wanna pet me? In my wolf form, I mean. I heard it's really relaxing."

Jenna was quiet for a moment as she was taken bit off guard by the suggestion "I guess we can try." she eventually said, sounding lot more vulnerable than usual, but before she pulled back from the hug, she stopped her tears as best as she could, and though she was successful, Oliver would probably be able to tell she had cried a bit, even if there wasn't any obvious signs like ruined makeup. "We'll have to see how weird it will feel to have a talking dog." she joked in attempt to cheer herself up.

Oliver saw the tears in Jenna's eyes when she pulled back, which just steeled his resolve for this idea he had. He shrunk down suddenly, and in a few moments Jenna would see a young wolf, fur the same colour as Oliver's hair, shaking off his clothes.

He sat down and looked up at her. "Go ahead, it's okay."

The transformation weirded Jenna out as much as it had in the first time, but she didn't show it as she knew it could make Oliver feel bad. Jenna hesitated for a second but eventually she gave a careful pet to now-wolf Oliver "There's lot of something coming through some kind of portals, there's world peace, and I can shape matter, yet you being a wolf feels the weirdest for some reason." she said it with humorous tone, but she was also saying it to herself in attempt to get used to it as quick as possible.

Oliver wagged his tail from the petting. "I guess  I haven't been doing it enough for you to get used to it. I'll fix that from now on."

He smiled up at Jenna. "Though, I bet it's gonna get a lot weirder."

"I just find it bit amusing that the thing that feels weirdest to me is a talking wolf....but yes, it's only because i'm not used to it yet." Jenna replied, continuing with the petting "Maybe if I was a pet owner, it would feel more natural."

Oliver grinned and wagged his tail from the petting. Jenna was surprisingly gentle and her hand was quite soft, which suited him just fine.

"I guess I can be your new pet now," he said, then frowned. "Wait, that sounds weird."
