"That makes sense," Oliver agreed with a nod. "Have to throw them off somehow, so we just have to take the long way."

He looked around at the dark road. "At least it's been peaceful so far. Not even many other cars."

"Yeah, my guess is they search the city first, though after that it won't take them long which way we went." Jenna replied "They will be waiting in the next city, since it's the only place we can go, but I have planned for that too."

Oliver felt a little relieved knowing Jenna had planned ahead, but he was still nervous by how things were turning out.

"Yeah?" he asked, looking at her. "What're we going to do when we get there?"

"We drive the busiest roads and generally stay in as much crowd as possible." Jenna explained "They don't know what car we have, so if we drive among other cars, it's more likely they don't notice us."

"Good idea," Oliver agreed, carrying on driving. "And if we swap cars every so often, it'll make us even harder to track.

He looked at Jenna, smiling. "They won't be able to identify our car if we keep changing it."

"That's true, but we need to think what cars we take, because we give ourselves away if go just go around stealing cars." Jenna replied "And now that one of my fake identities owns this car, we have a bit more time."

Oliver nodded. "Yeah, we have some time to think about our next move. We should stowaway on trucks and such as well, just to mix it up. It'll make tracking us a lot harder if we make a change from just stealing cars."

"True, that's just something that needs to be planned when the opportunity arises, because that's not really something you can plan too much in advance." the sun was rising at this point. Jenna looked out of the side window for a moment before looking at her leg broken and sighing "I don't remember if I said this already, but I wouldn't be here without you." she looked at Oliver with genuine gratefulness showing on her face "Thank you, I owe you my future."

Oliver yawned from tiredness as he saw the sun coming up. He looked at Jenna, blushing at how... grateful she looked. He wasn't used to her making that kind of face.

"Oh, really, it's no problem," he said. "I couldn't just leave you like that, especially with a broken leg."

"Don't be so humble, you saved my life." Jenna said before tilting her head to the side a bit "You seem tired, we can stop to rest if you want." "We need to stop for fuel soon anyway, so you could take a nap at the next gas station we see."

"Yeah, that's probably what I'll do," said Oliver, rubbing his face and shaking himself more awake. "We've been driving all night and all."

He looked ahead to see if there were any gas stations soon.

It wasn't more than some minutes when a lone gas station came to view, there was some trucks outside it but other than that it seemed quiet. Jenna pointed at it and told Oliver to stop there, she instructed him to park among the trucks. "I'll go buy few things, you can rest right away."

Oliver pulled into the gas station, stopping in between the trucks. When he turned off the engine, he leaned back in the seat, trying to relax after all that happened.

Though, it was easier than he expected, as he was out almost immediately.

Jenna just smiled as she looked at Oliver when she exited the car. She then proceeded to buy some things, food that could be eaten right away, water, and few other things. She then filled the car using jerrycan she had bought also, and finally filled the jerrycan and returned to the car for good. She got in, ate her part of the food she just bought, and kept guard until she too fell asleep.

Oliver had fallen asleep right away as soon as he sat back in the seat. He hadn't even noticed Jenna had returned to the car with supplies.

He hadn't expected to fall asleep with everything happening to him, but he was just that tired.

Being as paranoid as she was, Jenna woke up several times and stopped trying to sleep before Oliver woke up, she got out of the car and walked...or well, hopped around in the bright sunlight, that was now coming right at their car because one of the trucks had left during her sleep.

Oliver soon woke up, yawning and looking around. His heart skipped a beat when he saw Jenna wasn't there with him, but relaxed when he saw her hobbling around the gas station.

He stepped out of the car and stretched before walking over to her. "Everything okay?"

"Yeah." Jenna said surprisingly calmly "Did you sleep well?" she smiled at him "There's food and water for you on the backseat of the car, eat up and drink, it's probably bit warm at this point, but it should be still perfectly edible."

"I slept fine," said Oliver, stretching out his arms, and looked to the car. "Oh, you got food? Thanks." He smiled at Jenna.

He looked down at her bad leg. "What about you? How are you holding up?"

"I've been better." Jenna replied nonchalantly "But I also have been worse." she noticed Oliver was looking at her leg "It'll heal." "You saw how quickly that wound on my side healed, my leg will heal the same speed, there just is more to heal."

"Yeah," Oliver agreed, taking a deep breath. "I just got a little worried when you weren't in the car when I woke up."

He looked around the gas station. "Did you notice anything strange out here this morning?"

"No." Jenna said shrugging "One truck driver left and one went to sleep, that's really all that happened." "One of them spoke to me when I hopped inside the gas station but that wasn't anything to worry about, he was just curious about the young woman hopping around with a self-made splint."

Oliver nodded, seeming satisfied with that answer. Though, he then gave Jenna a dubious look, almost worried.

"He didn't seem suspicious or anything did he?" he asked. "He wasn't acting all shifty or anything?"

"He wasn't part of Talon." Jenna stated "If we would have been, we would be on the road already." "He was just a normal human who saw something unusual.". she stretched her hands "Besides, Talon agents try to blend into crowd, avoid sticking out, they wouldn't do something if they are the only ones doing it around them." "So I'm not concerned with shifty humans, I worry about those who act perfectly normal."

"Well, still," Oliver said, "we should be careful about who we talk to. We never know who might be after us."

He looked around him again, making sure they were alone. "Especially somewhere like this."
