Will Guide 21,365 August 23, 2018 Share August 23, 2018 I don't know what dabbing is and so, I have no idea why people like @Kyoshi or @TheTaZe are getting so upset about. And Pinkie's rap is simply meant to be a way of memorizing Wonderbolts history in some kind of song form. Like how SchoolHouse Rock were a series of song videos that teaches grade school grammar, science, multiplication tables, and basic American History that even today adults can still use to refresh their memories on the subjects. Also, what's so bad about the word, "woke"? Also, what's so bad about the word, "woke"? In short, the reason why I'm not too fond of dabbing is that it's an old dance meme from 2016 that hasn't decided to die off. Once you see someone or some character dabbing for the 100th time, it gets a bit grating to see. It's forced to the point where it just becomes annoying. The only "annoying" dance meme I know is the Harem Shake. And only because it popped up at the end of a Nostalgia Critic review, leading him to shoot the dancers and point out "IT WAS NEVER FUNNY TO BEGIN WITH. STOP IT!" But I've been around enough people and around the internet for long enough to know how widespread dabbing is. In my opinion, it's worse than the Harlem Shake. Thrond 3,265 August 23, 2018 Share August 23, 2018 I just think it's funny; slang, when well-incorporated into dialogue, can connect a show to the zeitgeist, and if the dialogue is still well-constructed and suits the characters, it doesn't detract from my enjoyment much. Slang is only distracting if it sounds insincere or is used improperly, and that's true of all dialogue. Rainbow Dash dabbing feels 100% appropriate for her, which is why I find it absolutely hilarious.

She did it so quickly that no one will notice it, not many did.
