I was browsing Google for MLP stuff and I happened upon the Unicorn Language post by SasQ!

How you became a fan of My Little Pony

I've watched a FEW episodes, and I read one or two fanfics and looked up some characters online, but it wasn't until a few months ago that I REALLY got into it!

Like the title says, hi guys! I'm katzoo12, or if you'd like to call me my pony name (as determined by a MLP Facebook post,) it's Cheery Peppermint! I'm an 18 year old girl who lives somewhere on the East Coast, and I'm a few-months-old pegasister! Though you probably knew that    I also have Asperger's Syndrome and I'm proud of it! As for my favorite ponies/characters: Twilight, Rarity, Applejack, Spike, Starlight, Zecora, Celestia, Luna, Cadance, Sunburst, Shining Armor, Lyra, BonBon, Octavia, Vinyl Scratch, Thorax, Prince Ruthorford, Ember, Big Mac, Bright Mac, Pear Butter, Limestone, Maud, Sunset,Tempest, Wallflower, Fancy Pants, Daring Do, Rara, Soarin, Thunderlane, Mage Meadow Brook, Rockhoof, Flash Magnus, Somnambula, Gallus, Yona, Sandbar, Ocellus, Donut Joe, Twilight Velvet, Night Light, Flash Sentry, in case you couldn't tell I'm listing ALL of my favorite characters, Toe Tapper, Troubleshoes, Grand Pear, Firelight, Kibitz, ALL the power ponies, Bloomberg, Mare do well, Clover the Clever, Smart Cookie, Sky Beak, Chief Thunderhooves, Scorpan, Capper, Captain Celaeno, Humans Rarity, Pinkie Pie, Applejack, Sci-Twi, Principal Celestia and Vice Principal Luna, Gummy, Philimena, Owloicious, Harry, Tank, ALL the reformed changelings, Hippogriffs, Phoenixes, Seaponies and Mermares, Windigos, Cockatrice, Lucky Clover, Blue Moon, MInuette, and like I said before, these are ALL of my favorite characters! I have also Asperger's Syndrome and I'm also quite happy with it, it makes me fell more inteligent and other "egoistic" things. 

I personally don't like (eventually don't mind) shippies, until it comes to Starlight X <insert someone's else> - then I'm only happy with Starlight X Me ship.

I don't know where, however whenever post count reaches enough number, your rank goes up - however posts are only counting in some sections, so earning posts is not easy. I, actually, don't care about a rank, because I talk and chat with sense, that's enough for me.

You certainly like a lot of the characters, which is respectable. I'd probably go nuts trying to list all of them from the top of my head.  I too have Asperger's Syndrome and while I'm not entirely happy with it - I'm glad that your're proud of it.

Thanks, I'll try! And tbh, the only way I could remember all of them was to look them up on the Wiki. And just curious, but why aren't you happy with it? I mean no offense. And do you use fimfiction? What's your profile? And What's your favorite character?

Yes, I love. Oh, you too? That must make our both faces smiling all the day  It's definitely Starlight, not planning change anywhere or anytime. In case of Fimfiction I only make (if I
understand corectly) headcanons and imaginary episodes, but I'm planning to change hobby from imaginary episodes to written imaginary episodes (without deleting my past "experiences", only going to note what I imagined to remember and share eventually).

I'm not happy with it, mostly due to it preventing me to do simple things and therefore making me feel terrible. I indeed have a Fimfiction account, although I don't write. Name is the same as here.

Aw, I'm sorry!   And I'm working on writing MLP fanfics, though I'm one of those people where inspiration comes randomly, I lose motivation...and O bite off WAY more than I can chew when it comes to story ideas.

The Fandom is not as big, as it used to be. The Fandom is decreasing for 3 or 4 years already, it's the fault of decreasing quality of the show and some divides in the fandom.

However do not give up, just be a part of active community here and the Fandom will be alive for long long and long =P

I think fatigue and people growing out if it. I will never grow out of it because I love cartoons so much. 

It's hard to pick favorite episodes. I usually only watch them once because I have so much to watch. I like Rainbow Dash. And I really like Tempest. I'm working on a fanfic with the characters from the movie.

I've tried writing fan fiction...and have failed miserably, so I understand thet whole issue of losing motivation. Anyways, I wish you the best of luck on your writing endeavours.

Hmmm, @katzoo12. You're motivating me to start writing fanfic with Starlight and Me as main characters. I really shouldn't care if that fanfic is egoist or not.

About my fav. episodes - every episode with Starlight Glimmer in the main cast - althought I suddenly stopped watching MLP from after S8 E13, I prefer headcanoning and imaginary episodes =)

I have one strict headcanon going in form of episodes. The beta version of Prologue (how it all started) you can read now:

5 MONTHS AGO:
The pink unicorn with purple/mint mane had got to bed and was trying to sleep. Meanwhile in the human world a young man named Arek also was trying to sleep. However, both of them had, as usual, issues with fast sleeping, because they were thinking a lot right before the sleep. Unicorn was thinking about past things and Arek also was thinking about a past, but closer to present. After he closed the eyes, he had heard someone's shouting, full of echo. Dear handsome young man walked in the direction of source of that shout, which turned into quiet lamenting and crying. 16 y.o. boy had saw something, a pink blurry ball. He had put on his glasses and saw something, that he had been dreaming for month. A pony. That one specific pony. A pony with very firm light pink fur, purple and blue/grinish lines on mane and tail. And characteristic Cutie Mark. 2 bluish curvy lines and the dark magenta 4-point star overlapping white star, also 4-point, at the bottom of the flank. She was curlied. Starlight - because that was her name - from what I remember, couldn't forgive herself the past actions. My heart started to beat faster, because I also couldn't forgive some of the past actions, like suicide threating and a few bad things. So I, knowing that the most relatable creature was now just few steps away, with closed eyes and still lamenting, I said: "I understand you. I know what it means to not forgive yourself.". The beautifulness in pure fore opened her eyes and looked at me, leaning already on knees, so she hadn't had to look with her head high. She was staring at me for quite a while, she wiped with her cute hooves her tears, and then... Starlight just said "Thank you." and hugged me. I closed my eyes to identify with her, but when I opened them... It was only a dream. However I felt, that this isn't over. It's a... beginning.

Althought I see lots of grammar and typos mistakes, I was writing this on rush, I'm overall too lazy to check constantly if I'm writing correctly (but in Polish language I'm aware of polish letters [ą, ś, ć, ż, ó and others] and ortography, weird enough). Thanks for kind words once again. I think I'll prepare for writing period, I just need to make new videos on my Youtube channel and some other things also, so it wouldn't be regular uploads.

And you might think I'm a Rarity fan by looking at my avatar, but it's just my friend from here who made me do this.  I'm a Twilight fan just like you are!
