"We're going to do something about it. First of all, we will go to Princess Celestia and demand that she allows you to hunt. We will start with the hunting thing first and work from there."

 

"It's not that black and white unfortunately." Ruby said "The reason why i'm not allowed to hunt and instead are given all the meat is linked to the movement limits." "There's no wild animals in Canterlot, and even letting me out of the castle alone is something that they do't exactly like, so letting me leave Canterlot without someone watching over me is no no, which would be required for me to hunt." "They of course will most likely give a different excuse, most likely about needing me if you ask about it, but I'm not stupid."

"And with all due disrespect to princesses, their reasoning for my form limit unfortunately is rather logical, that being the same reason why I don't just break that limit when out of the castle, ponies." "Because though common ponies have gotten used to the dragons a bit bigger than them living among them, my size will still most likely cause fear and in bad cases something worse." "A rather clever way to keep me in the treasury too I have to say, since it being the only place where i can do and be whatever I want, almost, I will stay there lot more."

"And lastly, Celestia is not the only cause of this all, the other two princesses are for them too, Luna being against me being in Equestria in the first place, and Twilight being...undecided with me being here." "Cadence decided it wasn't any of her business, so she's not part of the problem."

"i'm not going to stop you." Ruby simply said "But it's better that you do that without me being there, they are more likely to listen you when I'm not with you." "And I'd like to avoid going to the throne room if just possible."

Ruby sighed "Let's do that later then, I want to stay here for a while like I said." she hadn't still even once looked towards Somnus during the time on the mountain "I wonder what it's like for the creatures in the Everfree." she suddenly said, looking towards the forest.

"It's really not that bad there if you know what you're doing. There's an old castle there. Celestia and Luna use to live there long ago. They changed castles after the events of Nightmare Moon I think... maybe, it was a while back, you can't expect me to remember every detail."

Ruby didn't say anything and just moved her gaze towards the specific direction again, her grip on the mountain tightened, causing her claws to sing in to the stone, and she muttered something in dragonic. She then picked up a rather big rock and sent it plummeting down the mountain.

"It's their of fault for being this high in the mountain" Ruby just muttered uninterested "If I aimed where I throw them they would all go towards Canterlot." "More preferably towards the throne room of the castle"

Ruby shrugged "Maybe, I really wouldn't care at that point if they did, it's not like I would be staying in that situation anyways." she threw another stone to random direction, but this time she threw it little bit upwards, and sent a wall of flames after it, melting it into a glowing hot liquid that then rained down the mountain.

A chihuahua ran up the mountain and started barking at Ruby.

"What is it with chihuahuas and trying to intimidate things bigger than them?"

"Dragonfire can melt anything with enough exposure." Ruby simply stated, simply ignoring the dog as it would only hurt itself it tried to bite her, but she did reply to Somnus "Because they see themselves threatening and lack the capability to realize how wrong they are." "It's the same as your hamster trying to threaten me."

"I don't care for it, and Calti doesn't like it." Indeed, Calti had woken up and was now on the part of Ruby that was closest to the dog, and was hissing and growling at it.

Ruby moved her mouth a little but didn't say anything, but even though there was nothing Somnus could hear, Calti had turned towards Ruby's head and was quiet, and though neither of them did anything nor make a noise, Calti suddenly looked submissive like a foal that was getting scolded, and went back between Ruby's wings, trying to ignore the dog.
