Which is the best Season Finale? (SPOILERS)

Perhaps it's my own sense of nostalgia but nothing really tops the highs of the season four finale. It was around just as season four was on the air that I got into the fandom and got an opportunity to watch the whole thing on TV. The pure menace of Tirek was so over the top and unexpected for a kids show about colorful pastel horses that I couldn't help but have fun - and that fight sequence is the stuff of legends in terms of children's animation. Not to mention the themes of friendship and how the Mane 6 put it all on the line for each other, you really feel that bond between the group and at the end of the day that's what everyone loves about FIM. All in all it's basically the perfect climax to (in my opinion) the strongest season the show, truly delivering on everything I could have hoped for. I almost wish I could wipe my memory and go back in time just to experience watching it fresh all over again.

Twilight's Kingdom has the most votes and I cannot disagree with those who chose it. It truly is an epic episode which really shows Twilight's growth, in addition to the other characters. This is especially so when a fearsome villain is involved. It did a fantastic job at concluding the season in my eyes.
