In my opinion, Friendship University was the most forgettable episode of the season, and A Matter of Principals showed Discord at his worst. School Daze also could have been much better. However, I do agree that Molt Down was a terrific payoff for Spike's character growth and School Raze was one epic finale.  

Her's my top 5:

1.) The Washouts

2.) Sounds of Silence

3.) Surf and/or Turf

4.) Molt Down

5.) School Raze

HM: The Hearth's Warming Club, What Lies Beneath
