Scarlet nods "I'll just get some honey whiskey, I'm gonna need it" she says "Especially if the case drags on, like it has been doing lately" she says with a sigh, putting a couple bottles of special reserve into their trolley "Alright, then I think we have everything" she says and nods "Yeah, I tend to have road rage myself, but that's due to living in Manehatten and well..some of the things I've witnessed, they ain't pretty" she says.

Dynamo nods in understanding as she placed a couple of bottles in the cart. "I don't blame you. I'm guessing you've had to have the bottles when it came to certain cases? I've only ever drank the cider from Sweet Apple Acres. Of course, that was for cider season. Most of the time, I would drink one bottle as a celebration to something." He says, raising an eyebrow as he became curious. "What was the longest case you ever had to take on? How long was the case?" He wondered as she confirmed that they had everything. "Okay! Time to go pay for all of this and then we can go home. I can imagine dinner should be just about finished by the time we step into the house." He says, while he started to push the cart to the checkout lanes. "Would you like to do a self check out, or regular check out, sweetheart?" He asks, nodding in understanding to her having road rage. "I remember traffic can be so bad on Fridays, but it seems it's more days that that in Manehatten. I don't even want to imagine." He says, his shoulders falling slightly at the last comment. "I'm guessing that this case might have some disturbing or uncomfortable moments? How bad are we talking on the subject of 'not pretty?'"

"Self serve, I'm not really in the mood for idle chit chat with a cashier right now" Scarlet says and nods "Longest case? Honestly, it was a spate of ritualistic murders..all having Satanic like elements to it, well what one would account to Satanism due to Hollywood's crappy representation of that faith" she says and rubs her temples as they make their way to the self serve check outs "As for worst? I've stared into the void of the face of that which has been said to be faceless, I've encountered the Rake, Plot Holes and many more" she says with a shudder.

Dynamo chuckled slightly and nodded in agreement. "Thank you. After all this time, my best friend, now turned girlfriend, still understands. Our mother's would always go to regular checkouts and it would take forever. Self checkouts are much more efficient, but I hate how we have to wait for the soda to be weighed." He rolled his eyes and shook his head as he always ran into that problem. "There were different religions like that in Equestria? I'm surprised since we always looked up to Princess Celestia and Luna. I remember hearing such stories when we were younger. Something that revolved around Tirek and Grogar, if I'm not mistaken." He says, while scanning the items that were in the cart. "Of course Hollywood would want to make bad representations. Whatever gives them money and captures their audience members." 

As she listed off the worst cases she encountered, Dynamo couldn't help in shuddering along with her. "The void of a face? Do you mean slender? As in, the same game that we came up with when we were children?" He was honestly shocked as she encountered something from their childhood. "I don't think I've ever heard of the others, but they sound terrifying, yet confusing. I don't know how Plot Holes are scary, but I can't say the same for loop holes." He joked slightly, but was still curious about the other cases.

Scarlet nods "The one and same. I always told you that he was real and I found out he is" she shudders "Though, he's actually quite pleasant company once you get to know him" she grins and laughs and shakes her head "As for the others, I'll tell you over dinner" she says, scanning the items and bagging them "I don't mind going through a check out with a cashier sometimes, but when you're in a bit of slump like I am right now, I just don't feel like explaining myself to a perfect stranger."

Dynamo's jaw dropped, while he almost dropped the cookies he was about to scan. "I knew we were told stories and made up games, but I never would have imagined that he was real." He shook his head to compose himself as he continued to scan the items. "It's interesting to hear that he's nice company. Did you both share any conversations? If so, I remember hearing stories that he wants his twenty bits. Do you know what that's all about?" He smiles and chuckles along with her, before nodding. "I'd like that very much. I hope our mothers, Pinkie and Cheese don't mind. I wonder if they went through similar creatures or moments. Seeing how you're looking into all of these cases." He says as she was bagging the items. He listened to what she had to say and nods in agreement. "I don't blame you for feeling that way. It's nice to have a conversation with the cashier, but if it's something personal or important, then they don't need to know. That, and self checkout seems to go much faster, in my opinion."

As they scanned and bagged the last item, Dynamo gently took Scarlet's paw into his hand. He then brought her over to the machine and brushed her hand over the scanner. "Oh, look at that. I found a sale for a beautiful rabbit. Only one in stock and comes with cuddles and snuggles. Even better is that I found the greatest girl of them all." He chuckles, before kissing her forehead and pulling out his wallet to begin paying.

Scarlet would raise her eyebrow as she felt Dynamo take her paw and then scan it, but after what she said she just smirks and hugs him "You know Dynamo, you're lucky we've known each other so long and that you're cute, because you can be such a goofball and a dork" she says, playfully shoving him before kissing his cheek and puts the grocery bags into their trolley, and after Dynamo had paid for everything, she begun to push the trolley to their car. "And I just so happened to find a bargain. A rather cute blue stallion who comes with snuggles and cuddles. All he costs is love and care"

Dynamo smiled as he returned the hug, but tried to not laugh as he listened to her remark. As he was shoved and felt the kiss upon his cheek, he looked to her with a fake hurt expression upon his face. "Aw, so we're only dating because I'm cute? Does Miss Silly Rabbit not like dorks?" He closed his eyes and looked away, before opening one eyes and sticking out his tongue at Scarlet. "I'm just kidding, sweetheart. You can be a bit of a dork and a goofball. That's what I really like about you. No matter what, I will always love you. That, and you love my goofy nature. I may also be a dork and a goofball, but I will always be your dork and goofball." He says, paying for all of the snacks and beverages they had collected. After they put the bags back into the cart, he walked along with Scarlet, who was pushing the cart out of the store and to the car. He raised an eyebrow at her remark, before chuckling with a grin. "Hmm...a cute, blue stallion that has cuddles and snuggles. I think I know of such a pony, but who?" He thought for a moment, before chuckling and shaking his head. "I guess that means that you'd be talking about me, love. Also, the way that you described my cost is love and care. It makes it sound like I'm a giant stuffed animal." He smirked playfully as they made their way to the car.

Scarlet smiles "Oh yes, you most certainly are my goofy dork" she says and kisses him on the mouth just once "and what's wrong with being likened to a giant stuffed animal?" she giggles as they make their way to the car and she opened the trunk to begin putting the groceries in. "and of course I can be a bit of a dork and a goofball, I've been  your best friend since we were newborns, we're two peas in a pod, as our mom's would always say"

Dynamo grinned and chuckled at her remark. "I'm glad that I'm your goofy dork. You and I were always able to match each other's hyperactive nature. That, or we were simply meant to be besties." He says, before being pulled into a kiss from the female rabbit. He returned the kiss, before blinking in surprise at the sudden action. "I'm guessing there will be more kisses along with cuddles and snuggles?" He chuckled, before shaking his head. "Oh, there's nothing wrong with the idea of a giant stuffed animal. I think it's very sweet, in my opinion. Sort of like I can help in stopping you from having any nightmares." He says as they reached the trunk of the car. As Scarlet opened the trunk, Dynamo helped in putting the grocery bags in the back of the car.

"I remember when one of us would be having a nightmare, the other would hug them close. We would soon be calm right afterwards and then we'd quickly fall asleep." He remembered, before continuing. "It's pretty crazy how we were best friends for so long. It almost feels like yesterday when my parents introduced me to you and your mom. I remember my mom always telling me that we were two peas in a pod." He chuckled as he remembered something from his past. "I remember when you moved away and your mom spent time with my mom and I. Miss Devin would tell me stories about when you and I were younger. When we were newborns, she placed us in the crib when we were both tired. When it was time to take me home, she said that you and I were hugging each other close. It was even difficult to pull us apart from our hug. You would need the jaws of life to separate us. Both our mom's told me that we cried at times when we weren't near one another. It was like we formed a bond from when we were young."

Scarlet finished loading the groceries into the car and nods "I remember, I guess it'll be different now. I can't promise that there won't be dangers, especially with this case, but I can promise to do my best to stay safe" she says and gently shuts the trunk of the car before getting into the passenger side and buckling up her seatbelt. She smiles "And you're darn right there will be lots more kisses, smooches and snuggles. All part of 'buying' me, remember?" she asks with a giggle.

As he handed the last set of bags for Scarlet, she had finished placing everything into the car. "I'm glad that you remember, sweetheart. I remember our mother's telling me that they had to leave one of us at the other's home. It was the only way for us to stop crying. That, and I guess they thought we were just too sweet together. I guess that's also how it started for when we wanted to have sleepovers." He chuckled, before nodding with a serious like expression upon his face. "That's all I can ever ask from you, love. I know one can never come out of a case unscathed, but I guess that's the life of an investigator. If you can promise to try and stay safe, then I will too. I promise to do my best to help out, to stay safe and be there for you when you need help. I've never abandoned you once and I'm not going to start now." He says as she shuts the trunk of the car.

As Dynamo took the cart to a cart holder, he made his way back over to the car. He then gets into the driver's seat and buckled up his seat belt. He smiles at her statement and chuckled along with her. "I look forward to all the kisses, cuddles, snuggles and hugs. I can never forget, but I wouldn't call it 'buying.' I would say more along the lines of 'earned.' I feel as though we earned each other's love, friendship and respect over the years. It's something I'd never trade or throw away as you've become an important part of my life, Scar." He kisses her cheek, before starting up the car. After backing up and exiting the parking lot, the two began driving back on the road to home.

About half an hour later, they arrived back at their homes, As they pulled into the driveway, Scarlet could see that there was another car "Looks as if Pinkie and Cheese beat us here" she says with a giggle "Perhaps they could help us unload the goodies?" she suggests as she goes to the door and opens it "Hey everyone, we're back. Pinks, could you and Cheese please help us unload the goodies?" she asks.

Pinkie smiles "Of course, after all, Cheese and I will be imbibing in those goodies as well" she says, looking to Cheese and then going to help Dynamo and Scarlet unload the goodies, put the cold stuff in the fridge and the rest ready for their gaming and pun war night.

After a half and hour later had passed, the couple had finally arrived back to their homes. As Dynamo pulled the car into the driveway, he turned the car off and turned to Scarlet, who had noticed another car was at the house. Dynamo turned to see the car and chuckled. "I guess your right and who can blame them? I guess they were too excited to start the gaming and pun night marathon." He smiles as he turned to Scarlet with a nod. "I don't see why not. We did get a lot of treats for the marathon. So, it would help with lightening the load." As the two exit the car, Dynamo unlocks the trunk and follows the female rabbit to the house.

As she opens the door, the two step in to see that dinner was just about ready. "Perfect timing, you two. Dinner was just about to be ready. How did the shopping go? Did you get everything you needed?" Gentle asks as Dynamo nods with a grin. "We sure did mom. We managed to get everything on the list and then some." He says smiling as Pinkie and Cheese agreed to help. "Thanks for the help, you guys. Just make sure not to eat all the treats, before dinner and the game/pun marathon." He chuckles as Pinkie and Cheese followed them to the car. "Oh, perish the thought. Of course, that was the original idea, at first." He chuckled, before continuing. "While it does look like you two found the smorgasbord of treats. We'd hate to spoil our appetites, before having a lovely dinner your mother's had made." He says as the four grabbed the bags and brought everything into the house. With the combined efforts of the two couples, all the cold stuff was placed in the fridge and freezer. At the same time, everything else was unpacked and placed away for the marathon in just a few minutes.

After some time, dinner was ready to be served and  Pinkie was helping Cupcake into her high chair "There you go sweetie, and sorry, I know you want what we're having, but you're still too little" she coos to her beloved filly, making Scarlet smile "So for now, it's...ooh lookie what mommy has for you" she says, taking out a sippy cup in the shape of a kitten's face "your favorite sippy cup" she giggles "And what is in it?" she asks and sniffs it "Ooh, chocolate milk, you're favorite, num num" she says, smiling and giggling as Cupcake giggles and reaches out for her sippy cup.

Scarlet just smiles at Cheese "Wow, you hear all these stories about Pinkie being hyperactive and all, but you enver hear about just how good a mother she is. It is clear to see she loves and adores your filly and that she takes every care with her"

After some time had passed, the dinner was taken out of the oven and was ready to be served. "Okay. Now, Devin and I had made plenty of dinner for everyone. So, don't be shy in wanting to take seconds. There's plenty of food for everyone. So dig in and enjoy!" She says, while helping Devin in preparing the platter of food for everyone to take. As Pinkie helped Cupcake into her high chair, Cheese smiled as she got out the kitty sippy cup for their daughter. "We promise you can have all the food all of us have when you are older. For now, you can enjoy as much chocolate milk as you want." He says, placing a small bowl of baby food they prepared for Cupcake to have.

Dynamo chuckled slightly, but smiles and nods in agreement with Scarlet. "I know what you mean, Scar. Most of the time I've visited Sugarcube Corner, I see how hyperactive and energetic Pinkie can be. It's like a complete turnaround seeing her taking care of Cupcake. I guess it's because of how she watched the Cake twins for such a long time." He says, Cheese nodding at the claim. "You'd be right about that. Pinkie has learned a lot of responsibility when it comes to taking care of fillies. When she had Cupcake, she seems to have taken it easy on her energetic nature. She still loves to throw parties for everyone, but she's learned to take things easy every once in a while."

Pinkie smiles and then helps to feed Cupcake her babyfood while taking breaks to eat her own food "I can tell you, the first time I foalsat for the Cakes, it was..tiring, and I was about to tell them not to call on me to foalsit for them again, just when I had heard Pound and Pumpkin Cake say my name the way they did, my heart just melted" she smiles "Foalsitting those two, how-ever is a Cake-Walk compared to foalsitting little Flurry" she says with a giggle "Mm, Mrs Step, Mrs Devin, this is delicious, thank you for this delicious dinner."

Scarlet smiles and nods "I can taste the memories come flooding back" she says, hugging Dynamo close.

Cheese took turns in feeding Cupcake her dinner as Pinkie ate her own food. The two would take turns back and forth, which caused Dynamo to smile. "It's like you guys are a well oiled machine. Seems like you two are quite the team together. I guess it shows how much you both care about one another." Cheese smiles as he wiped a bit of food off of Cupcake's face. "I remember when Pinkie and I were at odd's when it came to planning Rainbow Dash's party. After a goof off, we found out that we worked well together. We soon worked together and ran things like clockwork. Ever since, we've worked well together and found out that we felt the same. I guess our teamwork is the same when it comes to taking care of our little Cupcake." He says, his eyes widening as he pointed to Pinkie in surprise. "Ha! You just made a pun, dear! The pun war has begun and we haven't started dinner yet." He chuckled as he took a few bites of his food.

Gentle giggled and shook her head at the antics. "Here I thought Dynamo and Scarlet were the most hyperactive duo in the world. I almost forgot about Pinkie's nature." She says, smiling at Pinkie's kind words. "Thank you and It's no trouble at all, Pinkie. Devin and I are always happy to help out the friends of our children."

Dynamo nods with a smile as Scarlet hugged him close. "I know what you mean. I think the last time we had this dinner was on our birthdays. I remember you and Miss Devin loved this because of your favorite vegetable was a part of the dinner. I'm just glad we get to be here and have this dinner again." He says, taking a bit of his food on his fork and placing the fork in front of Scarlet. "Here you go, sweetheart. Now say, 'ah' please."

Pinkie snorts and giggles "I'm just full of puns.. I'm like a...popping pun machine!" she giggles again and then bursts into laughter. Scarlet just smiles "I have a feeling we're going to have a lot of fun tonight" she says and then looks to Dynamo "You're right though hon, the last time was on our birthdays' she says with a smile "And can't go wrong with carrots, they're tasty and good for you too" she smiles and then looks to how Pinkie and Cheese were fussing over their filly. She smiles a little more "Just you wait, you two." she chuckles "While we're having our gaming and pun war session, Mrs Step and my mom will be doting on little Cupcake in no time"

Devin grins "Can you blame me? Once a mother, always a mother. I believe Pinkie can tell you that a s well" she says as Pinkie nods enthusiastically.

Cheese chuckles and nods at his wife's remark. "It appears that you are your own party cannon, honey. Here I thought we found all the hidden party cannons, but you were the missing one all along. It's the perfect scenario." Dynamo chuckles as he nodded along with Scarlet. "You can say that again. It even seems like we'll be making more and more puns than ever before. Not to mention all the video games we used to play. I think we even left some games incomplete, but I believe the saves are still there." He smiles, before continuing. "My mom said the same exact thing. She always told me that carrots were always good for your eyes." Gentle nods as what her son had said was correct. "All the dinners we made for you both was to make sure that you both grew up healthy and strong. It's a parents job to help raise their children to take care of themselves."

Gentle grinned and nodded at Scarlet's claims about watching Cupcake. "That's the understatement of the year. As soon as Devin and I heard about foal sitting, we were both ecstatic. It's been so long since either of us watched over a child. That, and I've always wanted to be a grandmother." She says, rolling her eyes and smiled as she looked into Devin's gaze. "So...should we be expecting to be grandmother's soon?" Dynamo had took a drink, but coughed as he heard the question. "Mom! What happened to what you told us about the talk!" Gentle giggled and smirked. "Oh, did I say that? Oh, you know Devin and I. We know we want to let you be adults, but we can't help in messing with you two. Isn't that right, Devin?" She looks to her old friend with a wink.

Pinkie giggles as she holds up the sippy cup so that Cupcake could begin to have a drink "Well you know me, I'm the Party Planning Pony after all" she says with a giggle and then listens in on the conversation.

Scarlet blushed a little "Well yeah, I mean I kinda agree with Dynamo, but to be a mother to his foals...I..uhm well..." she blushes even more "Would really like that, in the future, after all this stuff is..dealt with and gone" she smiles.

Cheese laughed as Pinkie held the sippy cup for Cupcake to drink. "Don't you mean that you're the super duper party pony?" He winks with a chuckle, before continuing. "Cause after all. The super duper party team. Those ponies are we. Cause there ain't not better party planners, like Pinkie and Cheese. Woo!" He cheered as he soon continued to eat his dinner.

Dynamo blushed as he heard Scarlet's feelings on the subject, before smiling softly. "I know we just reunited and we really do care about each other. It's just that we don't want to rush into anything." He says, taking her paw into his hand. "I do agree with you Scar. We'll figure everything out once this whole thing case has been taken care of." Gentle smiled at how close the two were and nods. "I'm sorry about messing with you two. You know how Devin and I feel, but we want you to enjoy the relationship. We're just happy to see that you two are together and happy. That's all us mother's could ever ask for." She smiles as she placed a hand over her heart.

Pinkie giggles "Yep, that's us. The Super Duper Party Ponies" she says, singing along with Cheese, much to the enjoyment of Cupcake. Scarlet smiles and then looks to Dynamo and then her mother and Mrs Step "you two just love teasing us, I swear, you both were just waiting for Dynamo and I to get together" she says as Devin faked shock "Perish the thought" she says then couldn't help but giggle "Okay, okay. I will admit that you two are fun to tease, but I hope you know it's all in good fun." she says.

Scarlet just smiles and nods "I know mom" she smiles and continues to eat "But as Dynamo said, we'll figure everything out once this case is closed"

Cheese smiled brightly as he heard Cupcake giggling at their singing. "It sounds as if our little Cupcake wants to join in on the party. I can tell that she'll be just like her mommy and daddy when she's older. She has the makings of the future Super Duper Party Planner." He says, while Dynamo smiles as he looked to Scarlet and then to their mothers. "It must have been their lifelong goal of getting us together. They might have had a multiple step plan of how our relationship would blossom." Gentle rolled her eyes and giggled. "No, we didn't. It was around a five step plan." She laughed and shook her head. "I'm just kidding you two. When we saw how cute you two were when you were young, Devin and I knew that you two would be best friends. I even remember the day Scarlet told us that she was going to marry you, son. I knew right then and there that you two would be perfect for one another. So, you can see why we love to tease you two."

Dynamo blushed as he somewhat remembered that day. He was really young at the time, but even he didn't understand what marriage had meant. "I understand mom." He took a bite from his food as he smiled at the female rabbit. "All that matters now is that Scar and I are together. All I can ever want is to always make my special someone truly happy."

Scarlet smiles and nods "Anyway, Dynamo you asked about Plot Holes and the Rake?" she asks "Well, Plot Holes are simple really, it's an anomaly. Put it this way, you're at school, and you see a girl wearing a blue skirt and red top in the hallway, but when you next see her, which is entering the class room, she is wearing something different, that's a Plot Hole.." she says and looks to Pinkie Pie "and don't even think about looking too much into it, it's dangerous as these shadow creatures can take you if you do" Pinkie chimes in. Scarlet nods "As for the Rake, well..it's a creature that has roots in the Navajo folklore, where they use the term Skinwalker"
