"She's the complete opposite. I wake my mom up later in the morning and she sometimes falls back to sleep. That's only if she doesn't have dance classes for the entire day." He smiles with a chuckle. "I think that's a good idea. That way, we won't have to wait all day to wait for our mother's to get up. Perhaps later on, we'll tell them that Pinkie and Cheese have some good news to tell them. We'll figure it out, while Scarlet and I go to Manehatten."

Cheese nods with a wide smile. "You both know how to make a plan. I couldn't have said it better than myself." He chuckles, before smiling softly as Pinkie kissed his cheek. "Okay, my love. Besides, I think little Cupcake is still half asleep. Maybe we'll let her rest for a little while longer. Pretty soon, she'll be like us when it comes to waking up early and planning for the day." He says, looking back to Dynamo and Scarlet. "Yes. Thanks again for everything. We look forward to doing this party again next month. Next time we all meet up, we'll plan the get together a little more." He says, Dynamo nodding at the suggestion. "You've got a deal, Cheese. Before you two leave, is it okay if Scar and I can give Cupcake one more hug?"

Pinkie smiles "Oh of course, I am sure she would love that" she says, bringing the filly over to the two and Scarlet immediately takes her and hugs her close "Shh, it's okay sweeite, we'll drop by before we go  to Manehatten" she says before smiling over at Dynamo "Here sweetie, I'm sure she'd love a hug from her uncle Dynamo" she says, but notices how Cupcake curled up and hugged into her more "Oor you might just need to hug her and me"

Cheese smiles with a slight chuckle. "Are you kidding me? Hugs are both free and the best. Hugs can make everything better at times and makes the world go round. That, or it's gravity or rotation. There's some explanation, but it's better not to ask questions." He says as they brought Cupcake over to Dynamo and Scarlet. The gaming unicorn smiled softly and nods in agreement to the female rabbit's remark. He held his arms out to pull Cupcake into a hug, but frowned slightly as Cupcake hugged into Scarlet more. At the mention of hugging both the female rabbit and filly, he nods and made his way over to them both. "I could never turn away from a hug from both my sweetheart and godchild." He says, pulling both Scarlet and Cupcake into a hug. "It's just like auntie Scarlet had said, sweetie. We'll make sure to stop by Sugarcube Corner, before going to Manehatten. Your auntie Scarlet and uncle Dynamo love you very much, Cupcake."

Cupcake looks up at them for a moment, "D-Dynamo" she says before curling up in Scarlet's arms once more before Scarlet smiles and hands her back to Pinkie "We'll see you soon, you best get home and get our little angel back to bed" she says as Pinkie nods, take Cupcake back into her arms and waves as she and Cheese leave to go to their car.

Scarlet smiles at Dynamo "We best finish cleaning up then pack for our trip" she says as she then begins to help him clean up "Oh and I did hear you earlier, I was in a bit of a rush and the first thing I  could find was your tshirt"

Dynamo looked down to see Cupcake looking at both him and Scarlet for a moment. He smiled softly as she said his name, before curling up in Scarlet's arms again. As they handed Cupcake back to Pinkie, the gaming unicorn nods in agreement. "We'll make sure to call you, before we stop over for a bit. That way, we don't stop by unannounced and/or walk in to you both planning a party." He chuckles as Pinkie and Cheese waved and left to get to their car.

As the front door closed behind the part planning couple, Dynamo turns to Scarlet with a smile. "Okay and you're right. We cleaned up most of the mess in the living room, but it doesn't hurt to make sure the place is spotless." He says as he returned to cleaning up with Scarlet helping him out. "Oh, I'm sorry about that, sweetheart. I hope I didn't wake you up. You just seemed so peaceful and you deserved the rest. After what you told me about not being able to sleep very well, due to the cases." His ears fell as he gave the female rabbit an apologetic look. "You didn't have to rush and I think you look cute. How much should we pack for our trip? Seeing as how we won't be staying that long in Manehatten."

Scarlet smiles as she kisses his cheek "It's alright honey, I do look kinda cute in your oversized tshirt, though I will need to change before we leave for Manehatten" she says, helping him to finish cleaning up "Well, I'm not planning to stay in Manehatten long. We will also need to leave space in your car for my things" she says "I really just wanna get my retirement package, say goodbye to my colleagues and of course my aunts" she says, "Then we drive back home"

She then sees Dynamo's mother and smiles, waving to her "Good morning mrs Steps"

Dynamo smiles as he returns the kiss. "Okay and that's understandable. The reason that I get over sized t-shirts is that sometimes the shirts shrink in the wash." He chuckled as they had finished cleaning up the living room. "Hmm...so I can guess we'll be in Manehatten for a day or two. Going by how and what you plan of action is. I wouldn't worry about having space in my car. There's plenty of room in the trunk and the back seat. That way, we'll get all of your belongings from work. Not only that, but maybe get anything that you want to take with you from your room at your aunt's house." He nods with a smile.

Dynamo looked to the threshold that lead to the kitchen and living room to see Gentle walking by. "Good morning mom. How are you doing?" He asks, Gentle smiling and waving to the two. "Good morning, you two. I'm a little tired, but I'm doing good. I hope you all had a nice evening watching your shows. Thanks for cleaning up last night. I really appreciate keeping the living room nice and tidy." She smiles, before looking around and noticing that some ponies were missing. "What happened to Pinkie, Cheese and Cupcake? I hope everything is okay."

Scarlet smiles "Oh they had to go back to Sugarcube Corner to plan some things, oh but they do want to see you" she says, brushing herself off a little "They're fine, but would love to see you when you and mom can go see them" she smiles "And we'll be going to Manehatten for the day, but should be hopefully be back late tonight or early morning tomorrow" she says and looks around, "Have you seen Chocolate and Milkshake?" she asks.

Gentle frowned at the mention that Pinkie, Cheese and Cupcake had to leave, but she soon smiled and nodded in understanding. "Okay and I guess it couldn't be helped. I remember hearing them say that they were party planners. So, I guess they were going home to get ready to prepare for future celebrations." She raised an eyebrow slightly at the mention of her and Devin to go and visit them. "Is everything okay? Why would they need to see us?" Dynamo stood up and smiled. "They didn't want us to say anything. So, it's better to go see them and find out. Also, it's just like what Scarlet had said. We have to go to Manehatten, but we'll be back tonight or tomorrow morning." Gentle nods with a soft smile. "Okay, then. I'll make sure to let Devin know so we can visit the others. I'm guessing that it's due to you being retired now? If you are looking for Chocolate and Milkshake, then they are in the kitchen. I gave them both some food and water this morning. I thought the four of you would be tired because of the TV marathon. So, I wanted to make the morning a little easier for you guys." She says, taking notice of the female rabbit looking around for the pets.

Scarlet smiles and hugs her "Thanks Mrs Steps" she says "And yeah we were all beat last night, but from what we heard, they spent the entire night cuddled up with Cupcake and she slept like a rock" she giggles and nods "It was a great night though, and we are planning on making it a monthly thing" she says with a smile and then hugs Mrs Steps again "Well we've got to pack our things for the trip" she giggles "and obviously, I need to change, as comfortable as Dynamo's tshirt is, I don't think going out in just this is a good idea"

Gentle smiled with a chuckle as she returned the embrace. "You're welcome, dear and it's no problem. You've always been family to me. Now that you're home, our family has been brought back together." She giggles once more as she listened to Scarlet's explanation of Milkshake, Chocolate and Cupcake. "Aw. If only I had a camera to take a picture of the three cuddled up together. That just sounds simply sweet and adorable." She says, nodding at the idea of a monthly get together. "I think that would be a splendid idea. It'll give you all time to prepare for the get together. Plus, it'll give me and Devin time to prepare the house for guests. Just in case you ever wanted to have the TV show marathon over at your old house." She says, Dynamo nodding in agreement at the idea. "I can see that. It would be a good change in pace. That way, it wouldn't feel stale going over to one specific house and have the TV show marathon. Who knows? Pinkie and Cheese might invite us over to their house in Sugarcube Corner." He says, nodding as Gentle hugged Scarlet once more. "Just let Devin and I know when you two are about to leave for Manehatten. We want to see you both before you leave. I also think that's a good idea, Scarlet. It's nice outside, but it's still a little chilly. You wouldn't want to go and get yourself sick after you just retired, right?" She asks with a giggle as she watched the two make their way up the stairs to get ready for the trip.

Scarlet giggles and nods "Getting sick right after retirement would be hell" she says as she hugs Gentle one more time and then hugs Dynamo before skipping off to their room to get changed. 

Some time later, she returned, wearing a short skirt, high top sneakers, a off the shoulder top and her leather jacket. "Well Dynamo babe, I'm all ready, I packed what I think we will need, just waiting for you to get ready" she says with a smile, sitting down on the sofa and cuddling Milkshake and Chocolate while she waited.

Dynamo chuckles and nods in agreement. "I can imagine, but I'd be there to help you rest and recover. I could imagine you would love all the care and attention, sweetheart." He says as she hugged Gentle, before he returned the hug Scarlet had given him. As she skipped off to their room, he sat on the couch and waited for the female rabbit to return. "I'll go and wake up Devin. That way, she'll wake up so we can see you both off." Dynamo nods as Gentle left the living room, before making her way to her room, which she and Devin shared.

After some time had passed, Dynamo's ears perked as he heard the sound of footsteps moving down the stairwell. He looked up to see Scarlet, who was in her new outfit. The blue unicorn's jaw dropped as he blushed at the sight of his girlfriend. "Did you dress to impress, hon? If so, then you look really cute." He says, getting up from the couch as he made his way towards the steps. He turned around and smiled softly at the female rabbit. "I'll be right back as I have to change into some new clothes, as well." He says, quickly running up the steps and making his way towards their room. After a couple of minutes had gone by, Dynamo had made his way down the steps and reappeared in the living room. His clothing of choice was a white and blue Mario shirt, dark blue pants and black and gray shoes. "Okay. I'm ready to head off on this trip, sweetheart. I hope you didn't miss me too much." He gave her a playful wink as he made his way over towards the sofa.

Devin was still asleep in the bed, snuggled up to her plush bunny. She was wiggling her tail in  her sleep.

Scarlet smiles and does a spin "Thank hon" she says, kissing his cheek "We'll just wait for my mom to wake up, so she can see us off with yours" she says, but as she had seen Gentle simply just go up the stairs,  she raises an eyebrow "Are..our moms..together or something?" she asks.

As Gentle opened the door to her room, she could see Devin, who was still asleep in her bed. She shook her head with a smile as her best friend was still asleep at this hour. After Scarlet had to move away, she understood that Devin had needed the comfort and reassurance that she wasn't alone. Devin would occasionally stay the night and share a room with Gentle. It was also a form of comfort as Gentle had missed her husband, Quick Fix. With a sigh, Gentle turned on the light to her room, walked over to her bed and threw the covers off of Devin. "Rise and shine, Miss Moonspell! Time to wake up and get that sleep out of your eyes!"

Dynamo chuckles as Scarlet did a spin and kissed his cheek. "You're welcome sweetheart. It's also true as you are always so cute and adorable." He says, looking to the clock on the entertainment center to see it was still early in the morning. "Okay and that's true. We have plenty of time, so it's no problem to wait for our mother's to see us off. We wouldn't want to make them worry." He says, raising an eyebrow at the female rabbit's question. "Oh, no it's not like that. After you left, Miss Devin felt upset and regret to send you away. My mom let Miss Devin stay over our house from time to time to help give her support. They both shared the same room as they now have a sisterly bond. Besides, my mom said she didn't want to have another relationship. She always told me that nopony could ever replace my dad."

Devin could hear Gentle come in, and she also knew what she would do, so she just curled up even more. That is until Gentle threw the covers off, she then grabbed her and pulled her close to her "Mmm such, warm, soft fur" she says, opening her eyes and gazing into Gentle's for a moment and then plants a soft kiss on her lips "Gentle...I..I know you said you never wanted another relationship but I..I think I have been in love with you for some time now" she says softly, blushing.

Scarlet smiles and listens to Dynamo and nods "Honestly, now that you say it like that, it makes sense" she says, waiting for her mother to come down the stairs.

Gentle was caught off guard as Devin had grabbed her arm and pulled her over towards the female rabbit. The periwinkle mare giggled as Devin had held her close. "Well, it is the fall season. So, it's going to start getting colder and colder as time goes on. So, I can understand what you mean." As Devin opened her eyes, Gentle tiled her head to the side as she wondered what was on her friend's mind. She was slightly surprised as Devin placed a soft kiss upon her lips, before listening to Devin's confession. "Oh, wow. I...I'm sorry, Devin. It's just that I always thought you and I saw each other as sisters." She frowned slightly not wanting to hurt her friends feelings. She felt confused about the kiss, but she had to admit that the kiss had felt nice.

"That's what I had always thought it was. Seeing how they spent a lot of time together." He says, walking over to Scarlet and sitting next to her on the sofa, before taking her paw into his hand. "Did you think they were together, or something like that? I was just wondering because of how you asked if they were together."

Devin smiles as she lets go of Gentle and nods "Oh I know sweetheart, I just had to finally tell you, as my feelings have been mixed for so long" she smiles and hugs her "I am happy for sisters, besides, as fun as it would be to see our kids look all confused, I don't think us being together as a couple would be a good idea" she sits down on the edge of the bed "at least for now, we can maybe see how things go" she says, looking  for something to get into "I don't want you feeling sad that you hurt or upset me, you didn't, okay? And no pressure at all" she gets into a pair of jeans and a tshirt, hugging her.

Scarlet nods and smiles "Honestly, I can see them as either sisters, but how they just seem to..click like we do, I can also sorta see them as a couple, as odd as that may be" she giggles.

Gentle smiled as Devin pulled away from the hug. "Thank you for at least telling me. It's never good to keep a secret to yourself for a long time. How have your feelings been mixed. I know you said I didn't hurt or upset you, but was it something I did?" She giggled slightly at the idea of seeing the shocked and confused looks upon their kids. "I think I would like that idea. Maybe continue as how we are sisters. Maybe down the line, we can see if that friendship is something more. I still want you to stay in my life, Devin. You've been one of my best friends and I want to keep that, no matter what." She says, smiling as she returned the hug.

Dynamo nodded with smile as he listened to the female rabbit's remark. "They do seem to have that great chemistry with each other. I mostly took after my mom, while I had my dad's silly nature. I guess it's really up to them. I admit that I would be confused, at first. The only reason is that my mom kept telling me that she really wouldn't remarry as she only loved my dad. However, Miss Devin would still be family to me, no matter what. So, I can also see them as a couple. I mean, take Starlight and I for example. We've been best friends for a while, but I don't think she and I see each other in a romantic sense. Even though I have a really special someone with me right now." He smiles, nuzzling the female rabbit and placing a kiss upon her cheek.

"Slow and easy, see how things go is a go for me" Devin says with a smile and nods as they then descend the stairs to the living room. "Hey kids, glad we could see you two off before you left" she says, hugging the two.

Scarlet smiles and hugs her mother back "We wanted to say goodbye to the both of you, I mean we will be coming back, don't worry about that, but it's always nice to say goodbye to loved ones before going on a trip" she says with a smile.

Gentle smiles and nods as she listened to Devin's remark. "Okay and thanks again for understanding. Maybe the two of us can see a movie, while our kids our out of town." She suggested as the two descended down the stairs to the living room. "Hey kids and it's just like what Devin had said. Also, sorry if we kept you both waiting. Apparently, Miss Devin isn't really a light sleeper." She giggled, before hugging Dynamo and Scarlet.

Dynamo chuckled as he returned the hugs from his mother and Devin. "I couldn't have said it better myself. I always let my mom know where I'm going, before I leave the house. So, I know what you mean on saying farewell to loved ones before going on a trip. We'll make sure to message you both when we arrive at Manehatten. We'll also make sure to be careful and stick together." He says, Gentle smiling in agreement. "I'm glad to hear that. I can't help, but worry when my son leaves and returns without saying anything. Just make sure to keep us updated and we'll see you when you both return. Just have a nice time visiting Manehatten." She says, Dynamo smiling with a nod. "You've got it and will do. We'll see you soon, mom and Miss Devin." He says with a wave.

Scarlet smiles "it's okay mrs Steps" she says "Mommy has never really been an early riser" she says and nods, picking up her day bags "We will, and Dynamo's right, we'll message you when we get to Manehatten and then when we are on our way home" she says "Oh and don't forget to visit Sugarcube Corner sometime today" she reminds Gentle as she hugs her and Devin once more before looking to Dynamo "Come on sweetie, it's still early enough for us to just about beat the morning rush hour"

Gentle giggled as she nodded at Scarlet's remark. "Oh, I know exactly what you mean, dear. Your mother could stay asleep through the loudest alarm clock. We always had to try a different way of waking her up when she stayed the night. While it may have been a bit of a challenge. It was fun to try and use different waking up ideas." She smiles as she returned the hug from Scarlet, before giving Dynamo one more hug. "Thank you and that's all we ask. You won't have to worry about a thing. We'll make sure to stop by Sugarcube Corner today. Devin and I will let you know when we've stopped by. Have a nice time in Manehatten and drive safe." She says, waving at the couple. Dynamo had returned the hugs, before nodding at the female rabbit. "You've got that right. I'd hate for us to sit through the morning traffic. Thankfully, it isn't Friday. Traffic on Friday's and even Wednesdays are like a nightmare." He says, opening the front door for Scarlet to step through. As the two made their way outside, Dynamo went over to his car and opened the passenger seat. As he made sure that Scarlet had taken her seat, he closed the passenger door, before heading over to the driver's seat. "Okay. Now it's time to head off towards an adventure." He says, opening the door, taking a seat, closing the driver's door and putting on his seatbelt. As he placed the keys in the ignition and started the car, he turned towards the female rabbit with a smile. "Ready to start this trip, my love?"

Devin blushed a little but smiles and hugs her daughter back before waving to them. Scarlet smiles and looks to Dynamo before nodding and making her way to the car, putting her bags into the back and then getting into the passenger seat "Yep, first stop, Sugarcube Corner"

As the bags were placed in the backseats of the car, Dynamo nods as he left the driveway and drove down the road. "Okay! Just a quick stop to Sugarcube Corner and we'll be at Manehatten before you know it." He says, glancing slightly to the female rabbit as he raised an eyebrow. "I'm guessing we'll be mostly driving to Manehatten, instead of taking a train. How long does it usually take to get to Manehatten by car?" He wondered as he made sure to stop at any red lights or stop signs. "I remember we have to knock on the door to the dessert shop. Seeing how they might be working on future parties and they wouldn't want us to have the party surprise ruined. I know we should definitely get some treats for the travel ahead."
