How do I create a topic in General Discussion or Forum Games?

I hope I don't come off as an idiot in saying this, but how do I create a topic in General Discussion (food, media, etc.) or Forum Games? Do I need more posts to do that, or is it just that I can't find it? I'd really appreciate some help. Thanks!

The rules for creating a topic are the same for each section whether it’s Forum Games or Sugarcube Corner. However, ensure that any topic will ensue a meaningful discussion.

If you’d like to create a topic in General Discussion, for example...

1.  Scroll down to Beyond Equestria > Everfree Forest > & click “General Discussion”

 

2. Click “Start new topic” in the top right corner.

 

3. Fill in the needed information and submit your new topic.
