A regional form design for Meganium from a future version of the Orre region

Name: Orrenian Meganium (Nickname: Sandanium)

Category: Herb Pokémon

Type: Grass/Rock

Ability: Overgrow / Sand Force (Hidden Ability)

Pokédex Entry: Adapting to the desert climate the flower around its neck has formed into a crystalline structure and become as hard as rock protecting it from sandstorms and dry conditions.

Other Info: Orrenian Meganium is a regional variant of Meganium native to the Orre region 50 years after the events of Pokemon XD where wild pokémon have now returned to the region. The Chikorita pokémon line were a popular species for people to bring to Orre back when native wild pokémon in the region were scarce and have now themselves become a species wild in the region. The species has diverged from their Johtonian counterparts developing adaptations to the desert environment. These adaptations include becoming shorter and heavier after gaining the rock typing as its secondary type.
