I expect massive things from the fandom in this last year

now that season 9 being the last of FiM being confirmed as official, I really expect to see HUGE,MASSIVE feats of accomplishments by this crazy, creative fandom. dozens of collabs, and tribute videos to the farewell of the show. Does anyone else? I already stitched together one of my own.

I might write a really long fanfic. Something like 200k words would be super ambitious, but cool to do. I've been getting back into writing recently, so I think I could put something together, assuming I can come up with a plot line that lasts that long. I might need some help in that aspect.

I am definitely going to be drawing at least one picture in memory of FiM and writing at least one story in memory of FiM, so don't worry, dude. That was a pretty lit PMV too, I'll say.

I'd kind of rather it not go overboard, treating this like the apocalypse. Lest everyone burn themselves out and then have nothing left in the end. I don't know if G5 will be able to carry this torch; it could be an unmitigated disaster. That being the case, keeping Equestria alive will be OUR responsibility.

You have a point, it’s not necessary a grand gesture to say goodbye to FIM, unless it’s a personal goodbye to the fandom. I’m definitely doing something small, of bad quality artistic-wise since I have no experience as I mentioned previously. But I swear, I’ll hone my drawing and writing skills, as I wanna draw my own settings, OCs, these characters that I love, and make my own story in FIMfiction. But it’ll be a constant journey, or that’s how I’m picturing it at least  . Baby steps, being overly ambitious from the start it’s the easiest way to leave it halfway

All that said, I do have plans; ones that have been brewing in the back of my mind, in the event that Hasbro finally threw in the towel. This forum World Cup thing finally gave me the urge to teach myself Source Filmmaker; a thing I've wanted to do for quite a while, but the learning curve was so insanely intimidating. In this short time I've fallen in love with it. I don't ever plan to stop making Pony videos with it. Even a decade from now, if I have to scrounge up archaic computer hardware running outdated operating systems to keep it all going. I just hope I can establish myself well enough that some of the seasoned masters will be cool with collaborating with me. There's big things I want to do between now and the conclusion of S9. Important messages that need to be sent. Equestria is the only home I've ever had, and I will fight for it until the stars in the sky burn themselves out.

You ain't kidding on that.  I'm going to go all out with my drawing skills this year, sketching as many Ponies as possible, maybe even have them alongside my own mascot Wanda Young, and maybe cross them over with other known IPs(Ex: I'm gonna dress up Fluttershy as Batman)
