Shinx watched as Munchlax fell asleep after setting an apple in front of her and Charmander. Sheesh, he's lazy, she thought, although she didn't really mind that much. Munchlax had taken the brunt of the fighting, after all. Her attention wandered off back towards the ocean horizon. Treasure town is so far away from here. I can't even see Sharpedo Bluff from here, she thought sadly, a slight feeling of homesickness washing over her. But it's alright. I'll be back soon, she thought, her spirits rising slightly as she gazed at the rippling waves.

Charmander sat next to Shinx. He couldn't help but see the awkwardness of this situation. "Um... Well... Where are you from Shinx?" Charmander asked. "Why are you looking at the waves? What's out there?"

Oh no! Shinx probably thinks I'm being too intrusive!

"That is, if you wanna talk about it," he quickly added.

From the darkest shadows of the ocean near Craggy Coast, a Sharkpedo watched as Team Extreme slept and talked. "Hmm another Rescue Squad. I suppose the Munchlax would do nicely if we could get it to evolve. I must report back to Master Mewtwo at once." eith that the Sharkpedo swam away.

 

OOC: Team Extreme won't see the Sharkpedo but if one of you wants to say they saw the top fin or something that's fine

Chickorta looked out of the window for sometime. She was still getting over what happened to day. She was now in a team after all she wanted. Her leaf twitched and she lyed down. She yawned and drifted off to sleep.

Shinx blinked, snapped back to reality from her daydream by Charmander's voice. "Huh? Where...where I'm from?" she repeated in confusion as Charmander sat down next to her. "Oh...well I come from the Amp Plains all the way over the horizon," she finally said quietly. "I was just thinking how far this place is from there. I-I can't even see Treasure Town on the horizon anymore." She sighed. "It's pathetic, I know, but I'm feeling homesick already, being this far away. And it's only been less than a day."

Munchlax had neeen listening in on the convrsation the whole time. He couldn't sleep and the two's conversation was almost a source of entertainment for him. However, he did think about what Shinx said about being homesick. Munchlax never had a home, he kust rraveledfrom town to town scraping up what little money he could. He only met Blastoise because je was trying to find some food on the beach and he popped out to scare him away. He had been lying to Chaander when he said his dad knew a Charizard. He didn't have a dad. He decided to stop their and not depress himself and go to sleep.

Scraggy sighed, then reached into her bag for an Oran Berry. "So, Guildmaster? Can we have our first assignment?"

Treeko went out of the kitchen with a berry and said "Do we have an assignment yet." to Scraggy.

"Ah Scraggy. I do in fact have a mission for your team." Samurott said "Go to the Desert Region and investigate the disappearance of Sandshrew. He went over there the other day and has been reported missing."

Scraggy shuddered. "You mean the Northern Desert? Are we even ready for that?"

"Yes, You shouldn't have to got to far into the area. I believe you can do it." Samurott says.

"Alright.... Treecko. Let's go to Treasure Town and head off." Scraggy adjusted the strap on her bag.

"Okay. I think we should buy all the oran berries we can. I can only buy six." Treeko said worried that they would faint.

At Treasure Town....

 

Scraggy reached into her bag and grabbed some of the Poké given to her by her brother. She then stepped up to the Kecleon shop counter and took a deep breath. "I'll take two reviver seeds and two power bands." She paid the green Kecleon and took what she paid for. "I think we're set. I've got a few berries in my bag, just in case."

"Lets go save a Sandshrew!" Treeko said with pride.

"Be careful. I've heard this place is full of sand pits and poison traps. Oh, and take this." Scraggy handed Treecko a Power Band, securing one of her own around her neck.

Treeko also securing his Power Band around his neck said "Where should we look?"

"Well, first we should scout the entire floor. And if we can't find Sandshrew anywhere, we'll move on to the next one." A sudden clicking was approaching from a distance. "Sounds like we've got company. Brace yourself!" Scraggy pulled up her rubbery skin pants, braced to headbutt what was coming their way.

Treeko wondered what it was so he moved forward getting ready to pound it. "Who are you and what are you doing here?" Treeko said out of curiosity.

Scraggy glanced at the pathway in front of them, but didn't see anything. Still, the clicking grew louder with every second. "Where is...." Scraggy turned around. "TRAPINCH!" The enemy was lunging itself in their direction, jaws open, about to bite. Headbutt! Scraggy threw her head back and waited for it to get closer. "Get ready!"

Treeko was so startled by the scream from his teammate he almost pounded Scraggy instead of Trapinch. "Why do you have to yell that loud."

Scraggy had to time to respond, because she was already swinging her skull at the enemy. The Trapinch fell back, but got back up. "Well, I had to warn you somehow. You want the next attack?"

"Gladly." He pounded Trapinch while Trapinch used bite so his tail got in Trapinches mouth. "Get it off me please."

Munchlax awoke to a light electric shock. Looking up, he saw that Shinx had zapped him awake. Not enough to cause pain but enough to wake homim up. "C'mom we're burning daylight," she said. "I wanna get back to Smaurott TODAY please." she said a little impatiently. Munchlax replied with a grunt and got up. He was STARVING. The group decided to continue looking for Solosis in the craggy mountains just past the beach.
