My character is Shadow Flight and he darkens the place with his evil tornado's of doom. His cutie mark is a red tornado. Long time ago, Shadow Flight was born in Skycity, This place is the most amazing pegasus city out there with it's beautiful aura and astonishing buildings of design and so on, he was always made fun of because he was the only pony that had a black coat in Skycity, but he thought he could ignore them even though he couldn't, then when he finally realized he couldn't ignore them, he would fight them and he never won one, then he finally decided to terrorize many Earth ponies to try and make him fell better, but he kept doing it to make himself fell superior over them all, but then he figured out how to do a tornado and decided to use it on their town, this is how he got his cutie mark, but that was their last straw and they threw rocks at him and he ran away towards a evil abandoned palace and he took it, fashioning it up and dusting it making it more evil looking and what not, then he decided to go out and terrorize more villages and he destroyed 2, but then the next expected him to come and he ran away again. This is his back up story.

He was a vampire in the medieval earth, and he was a bodyguard for the princess to the vampires. One day, they were both teleported to Equestria, and he lost his client. Larva now spends every waking minute of his life to find the woman he was supposed to protect.

mine is sonic charge (I changed the name) he is a pony form of Ashton Glyde, a character that i made up a few years ago who can open pre existing portals (time/dimention/distance) that were created by some other beings a long time ago. If Ash travles to another dimention where the native inhabitance are not humans, he can change hi form and name to blend in. Sonic Charge's cutie mark is the symbol of the SXCJ's (universal name of Ash and Sonic charge)

 

Due toAsh never aging and living in almost every era while being hunted down (cuz SXCJ's are now supose to be all dead) he bacame hardend and a geat warior. He decided to have hid memory erased and live on present earth to live as the happy person he once was.

 

Altough non-cannon in my story that i write, he finds a portal to equestria and lives there among the ponies learning about friendship.

 

Some say that my story was a rip of Doctor Who, but I wrote my stories before i even knew about Doctor Who, so i'l just keep them going.....

I don't really need an original character. I just notice the similarities between Twilight Sparkle and retired NASA Flight Director Gene Kranz. (The Flight Director is The head of mission control, his authority supersedes the Flight Commander on board the actual spacecraft, and even the President cannot countermand his orders in real-time. He is THE guy in charge in every space mission.) (Kranz Directed Apollo 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 17 and Skylab 2, among other things.)

 

First example: in A Dog And Pony Show, Twilight's reaction instantaneously to "There must be hundreds [of holes]!" is "Then let's get started". No nonsense, rational immediate action. Pray remind of the scene in Apollo 13 immediately after the explosion of the Odyssey that almost kills the three astronauts, Kranz's reaction is "Wake up anybody you need, get them in here, sit down, buckle up. Let's work the problem, people. Let's not make things worse by guessing."

 

Second example: a Triple checklist as seen in Lesson Zero is the sort of safeguard redundancy mentality that's driven NASA ever since the Saturn-204 disaster.

More alike than you'd think, beyond wearing a red white and blue neck thing.

Mine is Sepu, pitch back Alicornlike about the height of Celestia with a blood red mane.

I say Alicorn like because she aint no normal pony, more demonlike she was created by the accumulation of supressed evil emotions all over equestria. initially started of as pure evil with the inability to go near any town or equestrian as happiness and kindness repels and weakens her.

She was originally destined to destroy Equestria but some powerfull stray feelings of happiness the nexus mistook as hatred for no known reason was channeled to her and is slowly taking over turning her bit by bit over to a kinder side into a more ponylike creature. she did after some time buld up a hope the prosess would turn her into a normal pony and rid her of her destiny. she is now and have been for almost two hundred years in a turmoil of psychologial struggles between her two emotions

 

 

everything except the about two first lines was made up on the spot. my original idea for her was to actually some kind of ultimate challenge for the Equestrians which of they had no prior knowledge, but I felt it was nicer this way.

Well, i guess that i should explain my pony. Prince moonstreak is not your everyday equestrian. In fact, hes not even from equestria at all! He was born in Immencia, his home demention. He is the spirit of the moon but just as tall as Celestia herself. He is midnight blue and has a mane of pure moonloght silver. Him and his brother Blazefire, the spirit of the sun but as tall as luna, accidentally tore a hole in time and space and Moonstreak was blasted into Equestria. Now he is trying to repay his debt to Celestia for letting him stay.

 

He is also an alicorn.

My pony is Ice. He has a lot of common attributes of Twilight Sky and Rising Star, except he is the third brother, a Pegasus. Plus he has more swagger then both of them.

He was an adopted unicorn who lived on the surface with his foster father, an earth pony, while his foster mother, a pegasus was living in Cloudsdale with her two children. Cricket slowly suffered a terrible accident, causing him to lose his right forleg. Since then he's been practicing his magic desperately while spending time listening to his father's records and a few heavy selections of his own, while juggling his current job and raising his adopted daughter named Gordon (yes, Gordon can be a girl's name).

His cutie mark however is a volume dial turn up to maximum setting. He got it during a part time job as a radio host when he was young with another pony named Orbital (who also got his cutie mark at the same day). During one rainy day, the radio broadcast was hit with a thunderstorm, causing the station to go static. In an attempt to fix it, Orbital and Cricket focused on rewiring the whole system: which resulted in playing the current song on the radio at maximum volume, broadcasting all over the city of Canterlot. Both got in serious trouble and Cricket lost his job, inspiring him to start up his own recording business as a music producer.

I actually have two I've been developing on for some time. One is basically me as an earth pony (Unintresting), and the other is also an earth pony who is the ship captain of the royal guard princess escort, in the age Equestria has gone into space and colonized other planets (More intresting).

 

I havn't really got a backstory, or a name for that matter. This is just the kind of thing I think of while I wait for my peers to catch up with me on a work assignment. And during lunch I try to make a sort of, flagship, for the captain earth pony.
