privet 180 August 27, 2022 Share August 27, 2022 I did go to prom but it was quite boring. Did not wear a fancy dress or anything, ate delicious food, danced and went home.
Celli 4,338 September 12, 2022 Share September 12, 2022 Yeah I did, but it was fairly uneventful. I went by myself.
Yakamaru 3,127 September 12, 2022 Share September 12, 2022 Nope. Saw it as too boring, and too many of my classmates were too stuck up anyway. “Discovery is dangerous . . . but so is life. Kiri 7,288 September 12, 2022 Share September 12, 2022 I went with a group of female friends. Then we got bored and hung out at a pancake restaurant for a late night feast. :p
Woohoo 34,163 September 14, 2022 Share September 14, 2022 Did I ever go to prom? Spoiler I have never ever ever attended a school dance in my life. Sig by Sparklefan1234
Astralshy 26,654 April 8, 2023 Share April 8, 2023 No, I didn't. This is not really thing in my country. Im sure a few schools have a prom somewhere but this is really the exception than the rule. However, there are some festivities at schools here too of course. From these the closest thing to a prom would be a party which is hold when people passed the final exam at the end of high school. Twitchy-Tremor 297 September 8, 2023 Share September 8, 2023 Nope the only school thing I went to was a Halloween party and I was tuxedo mask. No one knew who I was.
Envy 6,162 September 8, 2023 Share September 8, 2023 I did not go, no. I was an edgy teenager who considered myself too cool (or uncool? lol) for that. Also, if I had gone, it would had to have been alone because who would have gone to prom with me? Everything needs more woodwind!
Clawdeen 14,139 September 8, 2023 Share September 8, 2023 I didn’t go. I can happily say I still don’t regret not going. *Ridiculous! Utterly Ridiculous!*
Pony Flutters 535 September 9, 2023 Share September 9, 2023 I went to both ones, but that's mainly because one of my close friends went as well. Looking back, I kind of regret going due to how boring it all was lol.
Iforgotmybrain 5,676 September 9, 2023 Share September 9, 2023 Nope. Wasn't ever really my thing. But if it was I can tell you this is how I would've asked for a prom date Spoiler
GodlyWolf Gusty 2,147 September 9, 2023 Share September 9, 2023 No i did not. As much as I like dances, I just never got the chance. Didn't have a girl I liked that would go with me, so I never bothered to ask anyone. If things as small as that were regretful, then I'd have 50+ at the least I mean some people do regret not going to prom. I know going to prom does mean a lot to some people. I remember my mom was watching some sort of show a long time ago where they put on a fake prom for a group of women who were really upset they didn’t get to go to prom when they were young. My choice was based around financial reasons. I knew my family couldn’t afford to pay that much for a ticket and a dress. The ticket alone was 100 bucks and prom dresses are just ridiculous price wise. I know my mother was really upset I didn’t go but I knew we couldn’t afford to put out that kind of money at the time. *Ridiculous! Utterly Ridiculous!*
Treeglow Flicker 13,669 September 9, 2023 Share September 9, 2023 Nope. My school never had anything like that and it would have been a very sorry affair if it did. A night in an dumpster with a drunk hippo would have been more magical and memorable than anything my school would have managed to muster.

(When I put it that way, I suppose not much has changed. But I have changed in many ways.) I know you were talking about your high school self. And yes you have told me how you think you're not that attractive attractive . However I stand by what I said, I'll go with you. If I really cared about how you looked, i wouldn’t be talking to you after you told me the first time. High school me probably would have cared, but I'm not high school me. It's like you said we have both done alot of changing since then. We have grown both physically and mentally. I never told this to anyone before but my first middle school dance partner. Nobody wanted to go with her because they all thought she was too ugly. So her friend who was also a friend of mine came and told me about the situation. The next day I came up to this girl and asked her if she'd like to go with me. And so we went together We actually started dating after that, but then she had to move with her parents. She was a good girl. She was a very quiet and shy type. Edited September 9, 2023 by GodlyWolf82
Guest September 10, 2023 Share September 10, 2023 I went to prom with several friends and a date. Looking back, probably shouldn’t have gone with that person as it ended up becoming a not so great relationship, but that’s life. At least I went and got to experience it. Cash In 22,313 September 10, 2023 Share September 10, 2023 Nah. I considered it, but truthfully, I couldn't be bothered going. I don't have a very high opinion on my school, so it's not a choice that I regret. :p At first I rejected the zero, but that was because I simply didn't understand it. Now I do. It seems like a nice thing you did... but understand, that someone taking pity on you because you're that ugly girl doesn't exactly feel good. I want someone to be attracted to me, not go out with me despite my appearance to be nice. Anything short of that is dishonest and doesn't help anyone. 1 Everything needs more woodwind!
