resolved How to Share Image in Messages?

Usually I would upload an image to Pinterest to get a URL, but the diddly doo didn't accept it this time. I tried looking up how to do it from the forums and saw recommendations to try with Photobucket and Imgur. Photobucket required a paid subscription, and the Imgur link didn't work either.

Am I being technologically deficient or is there something wrong here? :lie:

You can subscribe to the forum, support us, and you will have unlimited uploads (like videos and such that require a lot of space) and be able to upload in Private Messages, as well as have unlimited Messages in your inbox.

To answer your question, you can use your Testing Forum, create a thread there and upload an image as an attachment, then copy the URL link and paste it into your Message. The image will show up in your Message like it if was attached.

Hiya,

I don't think you can, unless you subscribe to the forum then you'll be allowed to send images in personal messages.

Also if you're linking an image, it usually has to end with its file format to be embedded and displayed as image properly.

For example

https://somerandomsite/IMAGEID

may not embed, while

https://somerandomsite/IMAGEID.png

should be recognized. If you can't get the correct link, try editing it yourself by adding the format (for example ".png") at the end. Do so outside the text editor, for example in the URL bar, then copy the edited link and paste into the editor. If you'll be editing a link within the editor the embedding will not trigger, a ready link has to be pasted.

You cannot attach files in the messenger, but linking images should normally work.

My advice is to use postimages.org (other services are available, i've just had the most luck with this service)

Start with uploading the image

Spoiler

image.png.cc7589af1360a1c0df6d9d249ac601e2.png

then after it uploads copy the link that says "Direct link"

you could also click the clipboard to copy the link

and then copy the direct link into the message and it will automatically embedd
