resolved Can't Respond to or Make Status Updates

I just tried to both make and respond to a status update and I wasn't able to do either thing even though the option for status updates is enabled.

 

Am I experiencing a glitch?

Yeah, I'm having the exact same issue on my end. 

Is anybody aware of a solution, or is this just something to wait out?
