How about a stallion? I think it'd make sense that more of his friends would be colts rather than fillies, but that's just my guess.

Try to imagine this new OC forming in your mind. What does he look like? How does he act? What is (was?) his dynamic with EJ when they spent time together? What does he like to do?

Well he’d be… arrogant like RD, brave, overconfident a lot, competitive, but he was also hard working and loved playing with the Apples until he moved away to the big towns. They were a the time too young to keep in touch and eventually forgot about each other

Eyup. We need character design (Physical appearance, basically just what he looks like), and a good name.

Let's get you started on that character design. Have you ever heard of the 3D Pony Creator? It really helped me fine-tune my OC's looks and I absolutely love using it.

It would've actually been pretty funny to just describe Fluttershy in an igloo.

Yep, I've been thinking of one for a good while now. I've just had a bit of difficulty coming up with a few ideas.

Also, you look like you just quickly ran to get something. I think you should sit down too, you're breathing quite heavily

Here's what I have so far:

Name: Trot Shuffle (me! who woulda guessed?)

Gender: Female

Species: Not sure, I've been 50/50 on Earth and Pegasus

Cutie mark: not sure, but I've got some ideas that can be referenced. A lot of the music i like involves a mix of triplets and dotted notes. For example, I've taken a particular liking to tresillo rhythms. Swings, shuffles also I love  so there's maybe that's a good amount to work with. Search for: Shuffle rhythms, tresillo rhythms, stuff like that. I love those soooo much 

Lives in Manehattan. Only because I imagine Manehattan has a cool "underground" music scene. It would be cool to tie it in with a fictional style of music (and dance), referencing "footwork" here. But called "hoofwork" clever right? 

Haven't got a clue on appearance or anything else, really.

And if I haven't mentioned it, then I haven't thunk of it yet

I think the design is a little too extreme than what I was thinking of.

Maybe a more neutral or pastel color palette. And I'm not much into the "punk" style like Vinyl has. I don't want her to stand out so much and her design to lean more toned down, if that makes any sense?

I'll keep tossing ideas in my head and seeing what sticks with me and letcha know what happens
