resolved Cannot directly attach photos to posts and PMs

I don’t know if this is a true technical problem or a side effect of some sort update currently being executed.

Anyway,

Every time I attempt to attach a photo to any posts of mine (status updates, thread responses, and even PMs) I receive this error message:

I have to use image sharing sites to get around this.

The thing is, though, I know the photos I use are of the proper file type.

Welp, that's a side effect of me asking to allow .txt files.  I mentioned, that I can't upload a .txt file, and that these were allowed in the past. 

Long story short, previously common image & video formats were allowed, and it was a non-adjustable preset. In order to add .txt, Jeric had to tick that off and choose to input file extensions manually.

I did notice the list of allowed types got shorter and wondered if the missing ones were important, but looks like they were. 

 

That said, give me a moment to reconfigure this.

Edit:

@The Wife of Law I manually added back all common image and video formats from the preset and added .txt on top of it. You should be able to upload it now.
