Is there a courthouse in Equestria?

Has anyone seen a courthouse somewhere in equestria? I never seen any courthouses in equestria.

 

If anyone could give a good name for a federal court in equestria, let me know.

I would guess that it has a similar body, or set of bodies. The cartoon just never showed it. I'd call it High Court, or something of the sort. Maybe Supreme court. Not federal, because Equestria is not a federation... I think.

Etymologically, a court denotes an assembly in which judgement is exercised and something is fairly decided.

A horse assembly would be presided over by a boss-mare over their harem. Horses assemble in what is called a 'harras'.

Therefore, I propose that a pony judge is called a 'Boss-Mare' and a pony court is called a 'Harras' :3

I treat Turnabout Storm and Elements of Justice as canon, so yes. (They're called "Ponyville District Court" and the like.)

The Equestrian Education Association has a council headed by a Chancellor to decide on matters of wait for it,,, Equestrian Education!

While this isnt a standard criminal court, Celestia's school for gifted unicorns having to comply with their edicts even as the head of state, implies they are a government agency.

Probably as close as we're going to get short of an elected official waving their authority about as judge, jury and executioner so to speak.
