After Evelyn greeted Swift when they arrived, she could hear a clatter of dishes as Trilby said 'beautiful mares' which made Evelyn giggle a little "uh oh, I think she heard you, Trilby, she's very self conscious about how she looks" she would say softly, before leading the trio up the stairs to the bedrooms, "plenty of room for air beds and a fold out sofa in my room" she'd tell them, opening the door to her room which was typical of a teenage mare's room, with posters of her favorite celebrities, figurines, her king sized bed covered in plushies and a sleeping fluffy cat and a malamute puppy, along with all her music equipment, desk, gaming setup and investigation equipment. "Only some things have changed since I was a teenager" she giggles.

“Hello again Evelyn, Collapse, Trilby. Hello there Caramel. I’m Swift Wings,” Swift Wings would introduce themselves to Caramel. Afterwards, they would follow Evelyn up to her room. “Oh wow, your room is pretty cool.” To ey would glance around, trying to see how everything might fit. “Yeah this could work. So, where should we start?”

Trilby follows, but chooses not to enter Evelyn's room. In fact, he doesn't even look inside. "Mother always said, a true gentlecolt must never-ever go into a mare's room unless given permission to enter first." Trilby says.

Evelyn would smile softly, turning around and looking at Trilby "Trilby, you're one of my oldest friends.. you've always had permission to enter my room" she would say, "but just to reasure you, would you like to come into the room?" she asks him before turning to the other two "Right now, we set up our sleeping beds, though there's room for at least maybe two more on my bed, and then we discuss our first steps for tomorrow" she'd say, sitting on the edge of her bed, adjusting it a little and waiting for her friends to set up.

After they are settled, she'd open up her laptop and go to her files for the boutique, "Now, as you all know, we will be going to the Manehatten location for Rarity's Carousel Boutique tomorrow, this job could take anything from a day to a couple of days. Coco Pommel had reported odd sounds at night, and things either being moved or misplaced as well. We could either be looking at a Poltergeist or a prankster from the corporeal realm" she tells them "and yes, we won't just be meeting Rarity and Suri Polomare as well."

She then smiles "Now, don't be surprised if Caramel comes in in the middle of the night, she often comes to me when she has nightmares for cuddles" she tells them.

With permission granted, Trilby smiles and enters. "Thank you, Evelyn." Trilby examines the room to make sure there will be room for everypony or if he'll need to sleep in the van.

Sitting beside Evelyn on her bed, he looks over at the laptop. "Poltergeists... I've got magnets, candles, and salt packets. Does anypony have night-vision goggles, an ouija board, or some divining rods?"

Evelyn would look to Trilby and smile "Great start Trilby, those will certainly be a help" she would tell him before turning to Swift Wings "Well Swift, a Poltergeist is a type of spirit that is responsible for physical disturbances at their haunt. Usually loud noises and objects being moved or destroyed. They often sometimes even do things like levitate ponies" she would say with a shiver hten smiles to Collapse, smiling more as she sees her cute yawn "Assuming that we will be dealing with a poltergeist and not some pranksters or some silly racoons, what Trilby brought with him is a good start, then I will need to do my best to get the spirit to move onto the spiritual realm, and then cleanse the area with burning some sage" she says, turning back to Trilby "I have cameras fitted with night vision, as for Ouija Boards, I refuse to use those, the reason is that they are very dangerous, you do not know who or what the spirit you are talking with is, and a lot of spirits that come through are tricky and can lure you into a false sense of security before enacting their intents onto the pony or ponies who summoned them." she would say, another shiver. "I have all the other equiptment however, EMF readers, Parabolic microphones, Holy water and symbols, motion sensors, Dot sensors, and Spirit Boxes" she lists off, then looks to her three friends "Now, one thing you need to know about me, I am..sensitive to the spirit realm, and that means I am susceptible to being posessed. Normally I can come out of a possession myself, how-ever...there are times I cannot, in which case, I want you to call this number, she is a Priestess of the Moon" she says, giving them each a number to call.

After that, she smiles and stretches, laying on her back on her bed "Now, you will also notice, I don't have many cameras, only the ones needed for investigations. I keep files on my investigations for prosterity, but I refuse to do anything like talk shows, post videos on the internet or have a show, I want to keep my profession just that, professional. A lot of those types that have shows, go on talk shows or post on the internet, are, I'm afraid, charlatans that prey on the vulnerable and gullable."

Trilby nods and listens. "Makes sense. I once saw a show about a supposed group of ghost hunters. It was just an hour of idiots screaming in an abandoned house, scaring themselves, and never truly find anything. No thanks~ Clearly there are some frauds out there."

Trilby takes the new number and reviews it. "I wonder if I am also vulnerable to possession..." His natural curiosity for adventure is kicking in.

"I see," Swift Wings replied. Well, I hope I can help in any way I can. I know I don't know that much about this stuff, but I hope I can figure this out as I go along. Maybe I can use some of my investigation skills in the physical world..."

Evelyn would nod at both her friends' comments, shaking her head "You're both right there, plenty of frauds around and yes, the fact they just spend the whole night running around in an abandoned house or castle or what-ever they arein and scaring each other is just weird, not to mention stupid" she would look up to the cieling "When exploring abandoned houses etc, most forget to watch out for the obvious, those being dangerous animals, dangerous areas where the building might collaps on and around them, and of course, theres squatters" she mentions, then smiles over to Swift Wings "I'm sure you'll be able to help loads Swift, and if the cases get a bit too much for you, you can always stay in the van and watch the cameras from there." she smiles, then looks to him "I do have a more..personal,well favor to ask of you, if that is okay?"

While waiting for Swift to respond, she looks to Trilby "Well anyone is suceptable,really, how-ever, those who are a lot more sensitive and in tune with the spiritual realm are more at risk of being possessed"

Evelyn would smile at her friends, chuckling a little at Trilby's enthusiasm, shaking her head a litlte before looking to Swift first "Well first of all, I think I should explain a few things about Caramel" she would say before telling them how Caramel was adopted by their 'father' when she was a newborn foal as her parents had known their dad and had to leave, so they left her with him, but the main part of her explaination is that Caramel is a Changeling like them "so, I guess what I want to ask, is, can you be her friend? show her that it is okay to be who she is?" she would ask "I'd love you forever and ever if you could do that for me" she says, then looks to the others "Well, I don't know if either of you are succeptable to the spiritual realm, but anyone is really, just how much it depends" she would say to them, sighing some "As for this possible poltergeist, unfortunately, they are usually pretty malevalent or in layman's terms, evil" she would say "which is exactly why we need to be careful" she'd tell them "nothing like what you see on TV or Youtube, No calling out, no noisy gadgets and no bright lights, not until we are sure if it is safe or not" she would say, "Could be residual, could be a full blown possession".

She then sits up, "As for who goes where, we are not, I repeat, not, splitting up, if I've learned anything, it's that splitting up is a bad idea"

Laying down on his back, Trilby looks up at Evelyn with big, wide eyes. "Of course I'll be her friend! I've always wanted to make friends with every creature. And maybe they could be friends with me. ... Oh! Do you think I should run over and ask Caramel on a date?" Trilby sits up again for that last question. "If it makes her feel like she belongs, then I will be happy to do that."

"Oh I see," Swift Wings replied. "Caramel seems nice. I would be willing to be friends with her."

"I guess what I'm wondering is what motive poltergeists have for what they do," Swift Wings pondered. 

"I would definitely stay on the cautious side. And yeah, splitting up sounds like a really bad idea. Like, that's how you end up spending the whole night running around, scaring each other in an abandoned castle in the middle of the forest."

Evelyn would smile at her three friends, nodding "Thank you, all three of you, Caramel having more friends means a lot to me, especially friends I trust" she'd say to them, closing her eyes for a moment, then chuckling a little at what Trilby said "Well Trilby, if you really do want to ask her on a date, you have my blessing, but break her heart, I'll break your leg" she says only half joking "Anyway, I am also glad we are on the same page on not splitting up, but its not only about not getting lost ina castle and scaring each other, but we all know what happens to the characets in horror movies when they split up" she shakes her head, then turning her attention to Swift "Usually, the motive behind poltergeist activity is usually revenge or you know, the building is built upon some ancient of burial ground of some kind" she says with a soft chuckle "As for our plan of action, tonight is dinner, prep for tomorrow and get a good night's sleep" she says, just as a knock was on the door and Caramel speaks up "Sis, everyone? Dinner is ready" she says before skipping down to the dining hall.

"Ooh~! My aching legs! I'm dying~!" Trilby playfully squirms while grabbing his knees, before smiling and having a nice laugh. "I'd never do such a thing. Perish the thought. I only want to make Caramel feel welcomed and admired. I wouldn't want to break any hearts." Trilby playfully boops Evelyn's snoot.

Soon they are called to dinner. "Oh, thank you, Caramel!" Trilby waves at her. He gets up but does the gentlecolt thing. "Mares and friends first."

"Oh, I see," Swift Wings replied as they considered what Evelyn had said. These supernatural creatures seemed quite mysterious and unusual, and while Swift Wings still didn't really understand them for now, they hoped that they would get a better idea as time went along. They hoped that they would know how to prepare as they followed Evelyn to dinner.

Evelyn would scrunch her nose at the playful boop, and then giggle before making her way to the dining hall with her two friends, as their other friend had to leave to attend to her business. Evelyn would smile and nod "Good, good" she would say, smiling to her adopted guardian and her adopted sister, who was quite obviously looking at Trilby but also blushing a bit. "Ooh burgers and hayfries, my favorite, thanks dad" she'd say with a smile.

Alexis smiles "No problem sweetie, now eat up" he would say, while Caramel just quietly at her food.

Caramel would finish eating, before looking to Swift and Trilby "So uhm.. how long have you two known my sister? She's really nice isn't she?" she would ask, blushing a bit as she looked to Trilby "A-and Trilby, was it? I like..I like your style"

Trilby collects his food and joins everyone in the dining hall. It's a simple yet fun dinner, over faster than expected. Perhaps time flies when you're having fun with friends.

But then Trilby notices Caramel and how much she is trying. Time to turn on the charm. Trilby gives a warm smile/smirk. "Well, I've known your sister for some time now. That's a story in and of itself. But what I want to know is..." Trilby takes Caramel's hoof into his own. "Why didn't Evelyn tell me she had a sister? I would have remembered a face as beautiful as yours in my shop. Oh I know, you probably don't wear stylish hats like I do, but I could always hook you up with plenty of other accessories to wear. Style is my forte."

Caramel would instantly blush as Tribly would take her hoof into his and compliment her "O-oh uhm.." she would hide behind her bangs but smily shyly "I'm, I'm kind of shy about people outside of our family knowing abouut me, or more like..the real me" she would say, looking to Evelyn.

Evelyn would nod and look to her two friends "Do you remember how I told you about how she came to be here, and that she is a Changeling?" she would ask them, "well I never told you that she isn't your 'average' species of Changeling like Chrysalis or Thorax, she's a uh..well an Arachnid Changeling, and she feels that her form will scare ponies off." she would say to them, then looking to Swift "Which is why I asked if you could maybe help her, maybe after dinner, you two can chat in her room or something, and you can give her some pointers on how to blend into the outside world and how to make friends as a Changeling." she would ask her Changeling friend, looking over to see Caramel was still blushing and gushing at being complimented by Trilby.

"O-oh I.." Caramel looks to her guardian who just smiles and nods "I would love to have some pretty accessories to wear, thank you" she would say "A-and I..I um..I think you're very stylish and uhm..handsome" she would say, before realizing what she just said, eeping and hiding more behind her bangs.

They would the turn to Caramel "However, I think you're quite nice and it would be nice to be friends."

They would then turn to Triby. "I think accessories are cool. What kinds of accessories do you provide?"

Trilby takes in the information and nods. He also whispers to Caramel. "I would love to see your real form. I bet it's beautiful." Once again, laying the charm on thick.

But he notices both Caramel and Swift are interested in his accessories. "Well, some of them I make myself. Gloves, socks, scarves, ascots, bandanas, bow ties, neck ties, capes, arm bands, turbans, masks, veils, and so on. However, I have been known to carry a few brands of jewelry. Horn rings, ear rings, necklaces, bracelets, pendants, lockets, mane and braid jewelry, monocles, glasses, sunglasses, and so much more. Everything I carry meets my person standard for quality and style. It will last longer than anything cheap, but is still very affordable; or I'll repair it for free. The only thing I don't personally do in my shop is piercings. That's a different skill set which I don't have." Trilby explains. A long way of saying he really does have something for everypony.

Caramel would blush at Trilby's compliments, being oblivious just enough to not know how thick he was pouring on the charm. She would listen "O-oh, well, all that jewelry sounds amazing!" She'd exclaim happily, her tail swaying happily as she would then look to Swift, tilting her head "O-oh you're nonbinary? H-how does that go? I-I mean if it's okay to ask, I've n-never met anypony who is nonbinary before" she wou;d then blush and look down, feeling as if she had asked somethingwrong.

Evelyn just chuckles "Hey Caramel, why don't you take Trilby and Swift up to your room, I'm sure that Trilby has some of his wares in his bag that is in my room, I'll do the dishes." she says,. as Caramel looks at them excitedly before wiggling her tail and looking at Alexis "Can I daddy?" she asks excteidly. Alexis just smiles and laughs "Of course sweetie, just keep your door open" he'd say to her, smiling as Caramel would excitedly take Trilby and Swift's hooves and drags them upstairs "O-oh uhm, how about you get the stuff from Evie's room and I'll call you when I'm ready" she says, quickly ducking into her room and closing the door.

After about five minutes, she had changed to her true form and calls out to them "Trilby, Swift, I-I'm ready, you can come in"

Trilby seems equally interested. "Same here. I've never met somepony who is nonbinary. Would love to know more." Trilby says genuinely.

Trilby watches Caramel leave to her room. "Oh my... I didn't bring all my wares with me. I brought equipment for camping, ghost hunting, and a bunch of other stuff; but I didn't bring any of my fashion wares. I'll have to use my teleportation magic for that. Maybe there is a better way..." Trilby admits, thinking about it.

However, they are soon called to join Caramel. Nodding at his friend, Trilby decides to go with Swift at the same time. However once in there, Trilby has to tip his hat backwards so he can really take in the full image of Caramel's true form. "Oh Celestia. Caramel... You're amazing!" His wide-eyed surprise quickly changes to a glowing smile. Trilby can't help but admire, but he tries not stare too hard. She's still a living creature with feelings after all; not an exhibit in a gallery. "I--just--You-- I have so many questions! Can you make webs? Do those holes hurt? Is it okay for me to ask these questions?"
