I wrote this for an english project just a few months back.. Let me know what you guys think i have more poems around here somewhere... but atm its to late to search maybe later xD

 

My New World

My New World is what I long

A future where Iv’e sung my song

How I long for open plains

With no fast cars or crowded lanes

A place of silence and nothing more

No big malls or super stores

A place with trees and river beds

Where things are heard with nothing said

A world of peace and equality

A world where you can be who you want to be

No stolen cars or missing cash

Everything is shared, just have to ask

In my world there is no murder

No dying young or illness killers

Just old age and afterlife

Heaven’s gate and angels light

If we work to turn back time

Before the money and the crime

My world may become one day

We just need to have the courage to say

"I’m willing to change"
