So I'm guessing we might hear some actual official news about this around toyfair in March. That'll be around the time the DFam contract ends.

I have not seen it confirmed anywhere that Camp Cutie Mark has been green-lit, much less that it's currently in production. Citation needed, donutmasterjoe!

That user isn't active for months. I personally thought the leak was just a proof of concept, what made me think that something could've been canceled was that announcement or something like that from a company saying that a multiverse show was in the works, can't remember it very well, also, nothing new was announced so far, which makes me think that they were working in something in 2024, but they canceled it, but I can be wrong.

I wasn't aware of this particular leak yet. I hope it's legit. 

I do not dislike the characters from Gen 5, that's not how it is, they just have a lot to learn.

And, as bad as so many remakes, sequels and prequels have been, they probably oughta create some kind of Frankencanon of all MLP's most beloved characters. 

Maybe Clover can return from the mists of the past as the most clumsy vengeful villainess evar!

It might make sense if we didn't see Twilight and other Mane 6 members as campers.

I still don't think I really completely understand if this is something legit or not, I still keep my opinion that it was just a proof of concept that got either rejected or something else. Considering it's real, well I don't know what to say in terms of story, I can say that I don't like the absence of Fluttershy, Applejack and Rarity, i don't care about G5 characters, them replacing the rest of the Mane 6 would not be good for me I think, but they could show up later on.

What I definitely like in the video though is the visuals, I really liked everything I saw, aside from some small details, Like, I'm not sure if I liked the extra layer of mane in Twilight and Rainbow Dash, in Dash especially I think it looks weird because it tries to have a lightining shape and I'm not sure if it works for me, I'm also not sure if i liked the colored hooves, at least not in some of the characters, I think I liked in Dash because it's just the same color as her skin (or fur) but darker, now Pinkie Pie's being blue I really don't feel it combines. Aside from these, I really liked everything else, the characters look very expressive and the overall art style is very appealing to me. Inspired clearly by G4 but at the same time it feels unique and great, they got it very right and looks infinitely better than Tell your Tale / 2D G5 in my opinion.

That model sheet with Twilight, Pinkie, Dash and the 3 G5 characters though. I still don't know if it represents a different period of the development or something else. As I said before, features the same art style and visual from the opening for the 2021 Movie. I do think it looks good but I also feel the influence from "CalArts" in it, not as much as in Tell Your Tale obviously, but still, while it stays true to G4 in almost everything, the faces are completely different, which end up looking odd to me, so I really don't know If I would like it to see as the art style of a new series, especially because it shows a clear downgrade in details compared to the movie.

I definitely prefer the art style from the concept video, whoever is the artist or the artists behind it, I hope Hasbro brings them back to work as the character designer(s) for the next MLP animated project (in case it's 2D). Like, It looks too good to be true for me, especially because for me Tell your Tale's visual was a example of laziness, so I wouldn't expect them to be this competent with the art again, that's why I thought about the possibility that it could be fake.

Not sure what you mean, but well, Twilight certainly is the element of production selling for them, or else she very likely wouldn't be there in G5 with the rest of the mane six. G4 characters are still very relevant for the brand, so is Twilight. G5 couldn't come even close to having such relevance for the brand as far I as know, though its popularity apparently became bigger than that of the classic generations, so that it was enough to at least guarantee the return of a few characters.

Yeah I did notice that they indeed decided to expand the Cutie Marks concept into the overall storyline here, and not just keep it in a isolated side story like FiM did (CMC arc), I believe it maybe happens because they don't want to repeat the early structure of FiM with the friendship lessons, so they thought that the Cutie Marks being the focus could lead up to new ideas. Saying that because the story concept in the video really felt new for me. I don't remember very well the G5 story though, only some of Misty's arc and Opaline stealing everyone's cutie marks, so can't say much about it.

if it as real, its just plain out lazy. 1) it hasn't even been a while since g5 came out, let people soak it in first. and 2) reusing characters and slapping "g6" is crap. at least use new characters. also i bet its stock toon boom 2025 animation. just,,,stop it hasbro. id prefer a "my pretty pony" spinoff.
