I was planning on making an MLP abridged

Sorry if this is in the wrong place, but I wanted to make an abridged series based on MLP, but I need voice actors, I am picking voice actors for comedic effect, not if you sound like the character, I will make a video Friday for you to attach auditions to, an if all goes well, I'll put out a video over christmas break (for me that's the 16th to some time early January)

This is what I'm looking for in voice actors(the main 6)

I will be doing twilight

Rarity, I need a voice actor who can sound overly British, comically stereotypically British

Rainbow dash, I want some one who can do a good solid snake impression(for the lulz)

Applejack, I need someone that can do a good southern accent(taken by finest)

Pinkie pie, I need someone who can sound phyco, like crazy serial killer phyco

And fluttershy, just need to be quite, but can yell very good(taken by shankveld)

 

Again, i will put up a video Friday so auditions can be attached to it

I'd be interested in doing this ! I'm a girl with a fairly high-pitched voice, I love Rarity, I can't do a brisitsh accent, but she actually speaks with a mid-atlantic accent, which I can do failry well. My friend told me my laugh sounds like Pinkie Pie's so I could also do her, and Fluttershy is all else fails ;p haha

 

Could I audition for all three?

It's cool that you can mimic the character voices, but I was looking for the comedic effect I described, but however, I think you could do fluttershy, just quiet and timid sounding, but at certain point able to rage yell

 

Also you sound like your flexible, I could probably also use you as extras, can't wait to hear you once my video is put up

This could be rather humorous if done correctly.

 

(I love DBZ Abridged and YuGiOh Abridged)

 

Though the voice acting is very important what really sold those series was the writing as well. There is almost zero original dialogue and what they replace it with is usually completely unrelated but it still fits somehow!

 

I would like to try my hand in voice acting... not sure which one though since I don't really know what I'm good at yet so I might record a few lines of each (the Rugged Rainbowdash Voice will probably oddly be the hardest for me )

Yes, they will, I'm just thinking of what voice I want for them, I do have a few though

 

Spike, I want a Mickey mouse impression

And nightmare moon, I was thinking a Christian bale bat man voice

It just takes training to get your voice into your actors mode.
