There was one Peanuts special where Charlie Brown managed to kick a football, It’s Magic, Charlie Brown. In the special, Snoopy puts on a magic show and turns Charlie Brown invisible. With his invisibility, Charlie Brown uses this opportunity to finally kick the football, and he does.

I thought he never kicked the ball in every cartoon.  It's just wrong in principle for him to kick it.  That Family Guy "Roadhouse" cutaway took it to unsatisfying levels  Some words I spotted in a YouTube Dorktown video had Charles' words of "He never kicked the football."
