Stuff That Smells Good (And Shouldn't!)

Example, Sharpie markers, alright yeah, I know what it looks like but I swear I don't just go around sniffing people's Sharpie markers! Alright maybe a little. But damn do they just smell so good! I wouldn't get a good whiff of one if it didn't. The same goes for stuff like gasoline and paint. People liking the smell of paint kinda varies like cilantro. Maybe I'm just the only 'tard going around sniffin' crap, but if anybody else had some weird sniffs, what was it?

I use to work in a warehouse that distributed to large farms and there were these bags of fumigant in powder from that we stocked and whatever that stuff was it smelled supper sweet, like cotton candy cranked up a notch.
Except of course it could kill you if you were exposed to too much so it's not really a good thing that it smelled so palatable.

I like the smell of gas.

And yeah markers. I don't sniff them to get high, I just enjoy the scent a little. :lie: If you remember old school metal permanent markers those smelled even better.

I once had this poem in mind but I wanted the letters to be white on black, so colored in all of the negative space on a full sheet of paper. My head was spinning to say the least when I was done.

I'm someone that very much likes canned Tuna, and there's plenty of other people who do and don't. I think this makes me more prone to not dislike the smells of canned meats, so there are a fair number of cat foods that make me stop and think, that probably wouldn't taste half bad. They vary considerably, but there's even a prescription diet that smells like McDonald's, and it's meant for treating diabetes.

The smell of dogs that spend a considerable amount of time outside get me as well. Some think that's just a smell from them being dirty, but there's no stink to it. It's just the dirt from the earth, rubbing against trees and maybe picking up dew drops off of the surrounding foliage. Maybe it's just because I spent a lot of time outside myself with four legged friends when I was younger.

Well lemme tell you that both dry and canned cat food is pretty good, I even have favorites, Friskies Tender Centers (any kind) and Friskies canned food, just anything but paté.

I really love fishy smells, like if there's a store with a fish market, you'll definitely find me standing there and taking in the smell. It reminds me of the ocean and of tasty food, so two good things in one smell! A more specific one would be rubber used in rubber mats and workout equipment. I took a weight lifting class in school and the weight room always smelled soooo good to me, probably one of the only things I liked in that class.

Firework smoke
"Rubber Renue" rubber cleaner liquid.
The smell near a working steam locomotive (combination of coal smoke, steam and oil).
Enameled wires when they are hot.
Varnish

Or maybe my nose is just wired incorrectly (I have very weak sense of smell, if I try to smell perfume, all I usually get is the smell of ethanol).
