Lady Rarity Pony 4,892 December 13, 2011 Share December 13, 2011 Well you could always say you want to look around at Toys R Us...maybe say the electronic section? LRP's opinions are subject to change without notice. Fees and penalties still apply.
83awsm 234 December 14, 2011 Share December 14, 2011 Ive never gone out and gotten merch, but if you have your own car, I always use the "oh gotta get gas for... (insert trip or reason)" excuse for just about anything.. Always seems to work, I do have a gas guzzler tho. Awesomeness = at least 20% Cooler. StingeMuffin 244 May 3, 2012 Share May 3, 2012 I've been tempted to buy a Pinkie Pie pocket pony (the best designed out of the ones I've seen, imo) to place on my computer desk. Of course, my computer desk is located in our living room, so my entire family would be able to see it, but that would present the perfect opportunity to explain what mlp is and why I wanted a toy. Graphite 80 May 12, 2012 Share May 12, 2012 I just dont tell anyone why im going to the shop, then when i get home i carry it to my room and put it in the display cabnet. They are just Pony's, its not like your carring a brick or cocaine around or something and need to hide it
StingeMuffin 244 May 12, 2012 Share May 12, 2012 You could handle the situation in this way: "Hey, mother and father, I'm going to the store. I'll be back in a bit." Mom/Dad: "What are you going out for?" "...Porn." And then you leave for the store. Really, telling them that you want to buy a few figurines from this cool cartoon you've been watching doesn't seem like such a horrible thing. But hey, looking at porn would be "normal" for someone your age. Whatever you decide to do is your choice, but I wouldn't try hiding it, because that will only make it more awkward when they do find out!
Ant 3 May 21, 2012 Share May 21, 2012 1. Tell them you like ponies, the MLP:FIM ones, and ask them what they think. No family could hate someone because of that...i think. Im saying, if they love you, what do they have against you liking something like this? chef sanders 101 June 13, 2012 Share June 13, 2012 Most of my conversations with my dad go like this nowadays: Me: "Dad, I'm heading off to the store." Dad: "Getting another Rainbow Flash?" Me: "IT'S DASH, DAD, DASH!" But in all seriousness, be vague if you want to stay anonymous. "I hid $1 Million in the..." - My final joke
