Cutie Re-Mark: What happens if you save Fluttershy during a fall?

We know that preventing Rainbow Dash's sonic boom would prevent the Mane6 from getting their cutie marks at the same time and, as a result, forming a friendship. However, what happens if Rainbow Dash does perform her rainbow boom, but Fluttershy is saved from falling off a cloud early in the race? How does this affect the course of the story?
